Here.
^true that.
But i totally expect not going to the service centre than wasting time, round trips for a cell phone.
That is i expect devices do not malfunction than expect to be repaired multiple times.
I have a 2 year old LG P500. No problems at all. That's how phones should be. Even Nokias are similar.
My brother's friend had purchased an Xperia Tipo hardly a month back, and is facing issues with microphone and speakers.

I have w700i from last 6 years used for 4 years no problem at all.
Wife and sister had Sony Xylo. Both used it for 2 years no problem.
Wife have Xperia neo V. I year old not problem.
Sister having Xperia Tipo. few months no problem.

One thing we all need to understand here is, these all are electronics device. Any of them can cause issue due to any damn cause. But providing good service backup is the prime responsibility of the company.

My BIL has a Micromax phone and it got locked and they could not get it unlocked for almost 6-7 months as the software was not there at service centre, isn't pathetic situation when you buy a new phone and you cannot use it. He wrote to MicroMax so many times and no result. In mean time he purchased a new phone from Samsung.

Recently 3 months back,we called a MicroMax service centre and the phone got unlocked and he charged Rs250.The service center was in Marathalli and it was just a small room. Now phone is unlocked but whenever he uses headphone and after pulling out head phone the phone goes to silent mode. After so much google, we found out to recover it into loud mode. No need to say about camera, Micromax 5MPX camera is worse than Sony/Nokia VGA camera.

Why to launch a product without proper testing? You cannot expect a person to visit non existing service centre. Phone is a kind of lifeline in today's world so it has to be reliable.

Indian manufacture should not only focus on low end product rather focus to build a robust and reliable product then only we can compete with NOKIA/SAMSUNG/SONY etc.

I am using Nokia e72 and HTC Desire for 2- 2.5 years and phone never gave me any problem. HTC phone has a 5 MPX camera which can match with any low end digi cam. Earlier I used Nokia N73 which is still at home and working fine since 2007 Sep.

i have said it . the brand does not call for much.

they have no R & D on their own end.

they just badge their products they have from different OEM partners.

this phone was considered only when i got to know that there is a dedicated x-da thread on this phone.

else i would not have bothered.

Safe limit is 1.6 to 2

In the United States, the SAR for mobile phones must be less than or equal to1.6 W/kg.

In Europe, the SAR limit for mobile phones is 2.0 W/kg.

How safe is your mobile phone? | ICT Pulse

Micromax is close to upper limit

Trustworthy Nokia has put it's SAR rating:

Nokia E72 has 1.38

SAR information - Nokia

while HTC has incredible figure < 1.

SARdatabase.com - HTC
the A110 has 1.5 rating as per the earlier article.

that is marginally higher that 1.38.

If that is the case go for google nexus 4 it will cost you 300$ means around 15k(unlocked with warranty),
for those who prefer warranty it will be VFM,
I read few reviews of A110 it got some issue after few days of purchase and in bangalore they have only one service center
