Micromax A110 Canvas 2 Review

if the hardware does not break up .i .e due to breakage and spilling of liquids, the only problem they might face is software issues and installing ROMS is a piece of cake on those andriods.

Installing ROMS is easy for me and you who are gadget freaks, but for the person who wants mobile to perform his daily task, business needs, demands reliability and that's where this mobile don't fare well.

Do you smell the resemblance to TATA and Maruti here??

1 thing is for sure that people are buying this phone , when I was buying phone for my wife I showed her this and another one smaller but which comes with S amoled display , my wife dint like it so we dint buy but infront of me 2 young guys bought it and very happy saying why the hell to pay samsung 37,000 for note 2 when we get this cheaper .

Micromax made indeed good mobile but they have to improve their service support. See when funbook was launched it did exactly the same as canvas 2 is doing. I got few prize from tech2.in for best review as well.

Actually when I was buying Tablet for my mom, my main contender were HCL me tablet and Micromax funbook. At last went for HCL me tablet, just because my friend had it and he was happy with it and no issues with the same. But after buying it , when I went to one of the mall, checked funbook and actually seems to be better than HCL me tablet.

the friend who bought the funbook has had his share of problems. mainly with the battery bulging up.

he then was the one telling others to avoid the funbook.

Well i am lucky to have no problem as i bought in april 2012. But after april batch all having battery problem :(

I know that but if you compare with play store its too small. I tried; intalling play store in hcl me y2 after rooting but that tablet is not booting anymore. So, went to hcl service center they installed fresh os. But one thing for sure hcl after-sales service is far better than micrmax.

Micromax is our indian company Im happy that it is doing well but they need to increase brand image, I have no problem to buy Micromax since Micromax just purchases components from same suppliers as for samsung/HTC/SONY so According to me components which are used in Micromax are supplied by top suppliers only and we can trust them but Micromax needs to increase its service network thats it.

Well dont get into brand images bud. I bought an HCL pad because of the same and just after four days,its dead. RIP useless thing.

Talking about brand value and image, micromax's image is improving very much, especially after launch of this phone. Although some people are facing some problems(page 5, my post), micromax isn't what it was 2 years ago.

(A lava Xolo A900 packs in an intel atom processor.
Now get that lava basher to say the same thing when he knows its intel inside.)

Compare them with the hardware packed in famous brands for a realistic judgement of the vfm that device packs

Im well aware of component suppliers(Qualcomm/ST-Ericson/Nvidia/TI(closed) non ARM platform Intel) and display must be any of Sharp, LG, Sumsung.
here point is micromax purchased them and used to built its phone so here on micromax has to give service right !!!!
Im not expecting 100% reliability but service is important if something goes wrong so brand is important for me it doesnt matter whether it is 1000 rs phone or 50000 rs phone

But i totally expect not going to the service centre than wasting time, round trips for a cell phone.
That is i expect devices do not malfunction than expect to be repaired multiple times.
