Thanks for the vid buddy, boot is quite fast.Get rid of that winamp, it's useless. Get Power Amp Pro, nothing can beat this player. For launcher try Go Ex or NEXT. Both are wonderful launchers with numerous themes and lockers available.

i have all of those players installed. winamp,dbpoweramp and rocketplayer.
was just fiddling with widgets and had that winamp installed.
i agree poweramp pro give much better audio quality.

Buddy tell me about its reliability and service. some of my friends told me some bad about micromax. please give us some info in this area.

it was bought not for me, but my sister who does not need high end phones. She needed a bigger display and the capability to run the latest apps.
She will be using it for the medical apps which she finds them useful. On android.
Had it been me, my choice would be a pantech burst simply for the hardware it packs.
The hardware config reads exactly the same as samsung galaxy s2 for the burst and costs less than 9k and Lte capability but without indian warranty .
The idea for getting micromax was for the warranty.
Friends in my circle have used both and find the canvas 2 ideal for those who care about warranty.
It does more than better job at its price point. Provided it works fine.
Samsung too has their set of issues. A friends note 2 loses signal of the network in standby and he has been regularly following with A.S.S for the past 7 months without any proper resolution.
So all is a matter of luck.

Thank you for your feedback on this phone buddy, my concern is just because my told me that his canvas2 phone got repaired in just 3 day he bought and service people also didnt do any thing.

nothing to worry . But they are sceptical of other micromax phones.
Everyone knows they do not do any R&D on their phones.
They just do the badge the products acquired from different OEM manufacturers.
Just that this specific model is from a better OEM.

nope not at all. thats what creates the fear.
I have used micromax earlier and also my cousins used lava,celkon,spice and the common feed back from them and from me too is
1. They are good till few months and after some problem starts cropping up
2. Touch screen response will be poor after certain usage
3. Battery will get drained very fast after few cycles of recharge
4. If it falls down few times, then you will come to know its fit and finish quality
5. Most of them have higher SAR values !!
Sorry friends I am not against any of these phones, but just sharing the information what ever I know and others experience may be completely different with present models of those manufacturers !!

RK this is the main concern for me, since we Banagalorean still struggling to get good service for LG how can we believe Micromax service. its been a 6 years Im away from LG. But this canvar 2 is very tempting but still trying to control.
But Good news is Samsung has announced cheapest Phablet called Galaxy Grand, features 5 inch display and with highend hardware but compromised in display resolution(but better than canvas 2), overall it is better that Note1 in all area and we expecting it for around less than 20k.

the hardware specs, is what counts and in androids, you have to comply with specific set of hardware.
that is where these companies see a future.
other than that. people who buy the flagship model jump to another one within 3 months and even theirs long terms reliability is suspect.
if the hardware does not break up .i .e due to breakage and spilling of liquids, the only problem they might face is software issues and installing ROMS is a piece of cake on those andriods.
@ r-type look for altenatives in bangkok. not micromax.
look for pantech burst and likes.
if CDMA is an option look for HTC ONE v @radioshack.
