LEDS aren't just there yet. the lumens output is usually very poor. and they don't last long due to poor heatsinking.

the LED you get with audi / Lamborghini are very different, integrated units with dedicated circuits and lenses. not something you can pop into your existing car and have'LED' headlights.

I already have true led high beam assist on my xuv thunderbolt. pics in my threads. go for those rather than messing with factory low beam.

about the pics, I don't have them ready. will shoot when I'm on a trip with thunderbolt.

Thanks for advice will remove hid from low Beam and will get for FOG lamps.

For high beam wont use hid as it wil bother the incoming traffic..

And which led are you using for high beam? is it h7? If yes please share the link where you bought from.

You can keep the HID in low beam if you don't flash much. I hope your low beams are projector?

Anyways, my LED High beam assists are, again not something you "Pop" into your headlights etc. They're separate CREE units with their own Lenses and Power supply. I got them from Blaze N Bright - High Power LEDs for Car/Bike/Home/Solar use

Here are the Pics- (Read both Links) The Bright White Lamps hidden in Grille (Black ) area are High beam assists. They're Cree XML U2 20W units worth 4800 Lumens total.

thanks for the links for led's have planned something but for that i would have to make some extra brackets will make a sketch and ask for advice based on other links.

well as of now need to ask something important to all Maruti STINGRAY users!!!!!

is there anyone facing any electrical issues in there stingray.
I have noticed last night while driving that if i turn on Parking lights & AC is on and so in headlights, headlights power fluctuation can be seen, and same can be seen while using power windows with or without AC.

this was see only with STOCK OEM Bulb...

Is this something common or shall i rush my BLUE to Service centre.

@Stingray91 Got my Stingray on Last Wed(Apr 15/2015). Both the Interior and exterior's are looks cool.

Have driven around 150kms in Chennai city for the first 2 days and then travelled to my native (500 kms from chennai) via Ramnad on Apr 17. Chennai -> Trichy -> Karaikudi -> Ramanathapuram -> Mudukulathur.

The ODO meter shows 680 kms now and the fuel efficiency is 18.5 KMPL with 100% A/C on. Is this the normal fuel efficiency?

Am planning to give my first service in Ramanathapurm maruti service center @ 1000kms. If you have any feedback please share with me.

PS: Foto/Video attached.

Hi guys ,
Had a wonderful trip few weeks back,

Location : munnar

Pics are added below.

Car returned 19.5kmpl overall tank full to tank full.

Car now easily takes turns and levitated turns on hills on 3rd gear freely, but needs a good momentum. If i go slow a bit, second gear needs to be shifted,
3rd gear acted like a universal gear on hill rides, i put 3rd and forget about changing gears from 25 to 70 kmph.

Happy :).

Beautiful place and amazing mileage. [:)]

Hows the road over there, are they in good condition? Did you stay there or just a one day trip?

Dear Rajaboopathyg,

The first service usually costs zero since no parts are consumed during the same. However the service personnel tries to drain something from the customers pocket with some additional work done on the vehicle. These are all pure business tactics [frustration]

The cabin air filter is good to have but the cream wash and battery replacement check [shock] is utter nonsense just to make the payment. You can always question them the unnecessary items in the bill before making the payment.
Thank you Sureshisme for your quick clarification.
