Yes , even white looks cool in stingray and the visibility is also good in roads.
Red is a bit youthful and
white is like classic.

As your father likes White go for it.

Have you opted for stingray pack?
How much do they quote?

As its the top end, you get everything, except the stingray pack which is optional for all variant.

As the pack is soo unique and keeps away from normal wagon R,

They include
Stingray seat covers
Window wiser
Door chrome garnish
Steering wheel cover
Wheel arch chrome garnish
Front grill illumination lights
Stingray floor mats
Stingray door sil guards

Please see the list i mentioned in starting of thread.

Things which i suggest you is

Dark blackish sun screen for all windows (max of gov approved)
Looks best in white car.
Use more dark in rear windscreen

Original 3d mats

A good lemon or citrus air freshener

A car cover from snapdeal., get premium one.

Remove rear door speakers
And install coaxial jbl gto or other premium, 2 or 3 ohm speakers. Not 4ohm ones. In a box with removable connectors. Or even with a Wooden parcel tray.

At pdi inspection
Check rear wheel mud flaps are installed correctly
Also bumper protectors have sufficient glue on it.

See for any minor scratches in doors

See for any marks in center of bonnet ,if yes say them to polish it.

At sighing papers, please carefully ask them everything and sign.

I also recommend you to do regular service
Before 2k kms .

And change semi synthetic oil at 2.5k odo .
Which is not as per oem service schedule.
But please do.

@ stingray91 Thanks for the guidance and I haven't opted for Stingray pack. Is it really worth?

Am planning to add leather seat cover, Chrome LED gril and Wheel Arch Chrome Kit, Neon Theme light as separate.

The dealer offered me the body side molding and leather steering cover as free of cost. I am unable to find the premium body cover in snapdeal, please post the link if you have.

I don't have idea about Original 3d mats, Is it available in Maruti GA or snapdeal?

Thanks for the replies. Have booked the stingray today in popular maruti Chennai. But the dealer says waiting period as 30-45 days for Vxi ABS variant, am waiting for the delivery.

I almost enquired the all dealers in Chennai about Vxi ABS model and none of them have stock and says 30-45 as waiting period, so i opted for popular maruti and dealer assured the earlier delivery.

Is this the one you are using? Am planning to order this now.

Why do you recommend this? [surprise]
IMO, its really an overkill.
kichu, k10 aluminium blocks tend to wear out initially , ie. Engine sets ( where metals and shapes get to its working flow and tends to have micro dust.)
Those are micro flacks
These cannot be filtered by oil filter.
Also these flacks are notorious to get clogged or sticks to oil passages.
At 10k service they do not come off by oil change.
So at initial 3k odo oil change can be removed.

Okay, then why the manufacturer not doing this oil change in the first or second regular services?[confused] Any one got any answer for this?

Maruti Suzuki A-star is the one which got the very first kseries k10 engine, so inorder to avoid any kind of engine failures the manufacture must have taken every precautions. Still it was launched with the first oil change at 10k kms. Why?[confused]

Even the cheap to own and maintain maruti m800 car has got to change its first engine oil at 1k kms.

You have a good question though.
Those derbies will come off at regular synthetic oil service per 10k as recommended by oem specs. At 4 to 5 regular oil changes those will be taken off, but those mix with new changed oil and cause frictions between metals.
But, these are negligible tolerance so manufactures like maruthi Suzuki concentrate on running costs and other aspects, they delete those thing's.

Its always a good thing to change oil for a new car in few kms. (Old school method)

Even NASA cant disagree with that

Its not synthetic, but semi synthetic.

Even if its about the running cost, then as I said before m800 should also follow these steps without wanting the first oil change at 1k kms.

Maruti Suzuki can reduce even more running cost if Maruti opt to put mineral oil instead of semi-synth from the factory and offers first two oil changes free with the mineral oil and direct the customers to use semi-synthetic oil there after so as to increase the longevity of the engine.[evil]

Ya its good. But if you really consider those initial micro metal particles, then you should get the first oil change in the first 50kms because considering a new engine a good amount of wear and tear occurs in its first few hours. and then you should get an another oil change at 1000km after that you can follow manufacture's recommendation. I repeat, if and only if you really consider those micro metal dust particles of a brand new engine.

All the Old school methods wont actually dissolves with the all newer technologies.[:)]
Example: In 1980s and 90s 20w-50, 60 grade engine oils were the best grade oils for the diesel engine sedan cars(HM Ambassador) over here in India. Now we have new diesel engine sedan cars which even uses 0w-20 grade engine oil(Honda Amaze). Remember, comparing to the olden times even the atmospheric temperature has increased so high.

Do you think considering the old school methods, NASA will recommend to use 20w-50 grade engine oil in the car honda amaze over here in India?

You have a point here
Let me give a scenario here.
Consider two identical cars driven identically and used identically.
One car follows manufacturer recommended service.
Another car
Changes mineral oil and filter every 5k kms ,
Ie insted of spending 3500 for semi synthetic every 10k , spending 1050 every 5k.

And second car follows all same service schedule as per manufacture recommended.

Which car do you think last longer? Ie after 1.5~2l kms ?

Its our car, we are auto enthusiastic guys, we care our cars, why do we hesitate to oil change oil every 5k kms? .

I have seen a innova run 4.5l kms ,stilll running in good condition, they say they change oil and filter blindly every 5k kms.

A mm800 still running 3 odo drive cycle's ie. More than 3l kms , still running well like a new car.

I am not blindly saying this concept, after seeing many cars i came to this concept.

Anyway i have nothing to prove here, bro
Lets hope for the best
