As per my opinion the entire process is unnecessary, Dismantling the entire clutch assembly, removing drive shaft is just unnecessary. Usually there is a little gap at leaver there dust accumulates, even after cleaning it will get accumulated again. Anyway if problem rectified then its ok, but do not tear-down car unnecessarily.

I had also asked the same question as you had put Mr.Suryaputhra

But what they told was sometimes small amount of debris present inside or within the crevice itself can't be completey removed up ,also the condition of all components was inspected as work was done under warranty,if anything needs to be replaced it could have been done na

What I have experienced with dealer's that if they want to train new mechanics they themselves show interest on warranty works and assign the job to new mechanics to train them. Clutch centring is to be done to perfection, my previous car OEM clutch lasted 140000km. Factory assembly vs workshop assembly differs.

Symptoms of malfunctioning clutch plate, cover assembly, flywheel and releaser bearing are different.

Today my dzire completed third free service I told them no brake pad cleaning, no alignment balancing just change oil that's it. zero maintenance right even for future.[:)]

Cable lever has got metal bush no rubber bush to prevent debris to enter, releaser bearing right gear box case and flywheel also semi open, so you drive entire right gear box case including releaser bearing will soaked in dust, its not an issue.

Suryaputra,

If the car is under warranty and they check the clutch, they are responsible. So if it solves vishnu's problem there shouldnt be any issue

I am taking about perfection, not the job or issue.

1. Releaser bearing problem

i. gurrrrr noise when you release clutch about 15 to 20 sec like worn-out wheel bearing.
ii. Clutch plate will not release it will stick to flywheel,
iii. Difficulty in gear change

2. Cover assemble problem

i. Clutch is very hard
ii. Clutch drag or slip

3. Clutch plate problem

i. Grears will jump
ii. Slipping or dragging gears

4. Flywheel problem

i.Gears will not engage properly
ii. Drive train jerks and dragging

if these symptoms are not there why someone need to remove clutch assembly. Every time you remove drive shaft differential pilot gear slot shaved.

Work should go by symptoms, not by trail and error, if someone go by trail and error they are not competent enough.
My only concern is why to postmortem a new car.

How many ltrs of diesel is left in LDI new dezire, when fuel yellow light pops up
I think 4 liters of diesel remains,
in my case one day I'm in outer ring road and the yellow light pops up ,just before that I saw the range of 60 kms
after that I drive almost 20 kms and filled the tank to the brim, total of 39 liters
so by the calculations may be 4 liters left

happy motoring

Please specify when last service was then and time elapsed after last service-

Normally at 30k -
1.Engine oil,oil filter, diesel filter and airfilter are components to be replaced.
2.Air cleaner element -a/c can be cleaned or replaced
3.Suspension components can be checked for damage
4.Brakes can be inspected and overhauled if needed.
5.Coolant , A/C coolant ,Brake fluid ,Transmission fluid can be topped if necessary

The bill excluding suspension will be around 5-6k.,if all the mentioned fluids and components are replaced or topped up.

If doing an oil change, ask them to flush the engine. It will clean up carbon deposits snd the new oil wont go black immediately

Also, ask for aircon mini service and regular stuff like filters, balancing, alignment, tyre rotation etc

Colour of the engine oil is not the correct measure of its effectiveness, infact its holding combustion impurities well if your engine oil colour becomes brown its doing its job correctly. Engine oil flush not at all recommended even at 2 lak km. Change engine oil at regular intervals just before manufacturer specified time limit.

I'm not OK with noise at all as that is not the only issue, power of car is considerably low due to missing issue which I presume is due to engine head malfunctioning. I totally don't feel that turbo push at 2000 rpm, even I struggle to overtake most of the times as car doesn't respond. Also worth mentioning I can hear a hissing sound, as if pressure is leaking out from somewhere, when I start the car. But I'm sure the problem lies with engine head, taper cover and injectors, I still have extended warranty applicable, 2013 model car.
Hi if possible, get me all the error codes of OBD II scanner. That's where we need to start troubleshooting your car.
