Got a chance to check out my friends new(one week old) "Swift Dzire Zdi" today,noticed the alloys are different from the swift zdi,as for the boot there is bit more space after the rear wheel protrusion in comparison to the hatch swift & height of the parcel tray area is higher.
But what was shocking was if you move the front seat to its rear most position there is no way the rear passenger can even squeeze there leg in,it cost him 8.5 on road(Bangalore) if i remember right,so other friends were speaking in whispers that they would rather go for a Manza or i20,as for driving dynamics i did not drive it so no comment on that yet(Although pedal area did feel congested in comparison to previous swift).But music system sounds really good for a stock one.

Me too dude, got to drive my friend's new Dzire Zdi today,
Well my observations:
- The NVH levels is NIL when compared to the old swift and the Dzire.(Started the engine and to my surprise there's no sound coming into the cabin at all)Really impressed with this part
- Rear seat space is okayish when i sat there(am 5.7").
- Performance is the same like the older one.
- The music system is the best from the Manufacturer.
- Breeze to drive in the city as the steering is lighter.
- The interior quality is promising .
- A/C was good,but not like the fords and Hyundais.
- Boot can carry upto 4 luggage bags.

Overall a good car for medium sized adults, and performance is known by all which is a lot better.The features provided is definitely not upto manza but it tops in all other aspects.

Just move the front seat to its rear most position you will understand what am talking about & for cabin sound levels i think its too soon to determine that on a new car,after its done above 6000km that is when you can determine it i feel,new cars are always smooth(especially diesels) to determine engine noise levels.And one more thing i mite add is rear view mirror is beige/greyish its stands out from the black dashboard,driver side gets no cup holder only one bottle holder on the door,the wood finish on the dashboard is actually a decent job(how it will do with time needs to be seen).

Sure, In my known circle itself more than 10 Dzire bookings were cancelled. and In fact i too have booked in two different show rooms of which i have cancelled the both.

So hope for the best to get your Dzire at the earliest.

Dealer initially told 5-6 months waiting for dezire LDI

U think i will get in 3 months ?

1 month is already passed

They have changed some service changing intervals on the new swift Dzire compared to the older diesel could that be leading to a prob,?

Nano situation though true was way too much hyped by media .

Seems that it was a thing of the past and its not just Maruti. Just got the front seats on my brother in law's not even a year old Polo replaced on warranty. They got rusted and were falling apart literally. Could have resulted in an accident, if the seats caved in while on the run.

Can't believe that most manufacturers are giving us lemons, just like that. They dont care for their reputation one bit. I also think the new Swift Dzire is not that great on quality or build, think my 2006 Alto has a better build, No rattles or issues whatsover till date.

Me too saw all sort of shades and colours expect the red one , but somehow feel the red will look very nice on the new dezire.

+1. Have a look at the only pic which is roaming in the internet!
Isnt the car is looking Hot in this colour and in this paticular angle!
