Can't believe that most manufacturers are giving us lemons, just like that. They dont care for their reputation one bit. I also think the new Swift Dzire is not that great on quality or build, think my 2006 Alto has a better build, No rattles or issues whatsover till date.

I know a 15+ year old Maruti 800 all made in Japan components but with M Logo, it is a gem.. well used and no sign of rust. looks pristine .
That is where sometime my respect pour in for suzuki ...but today's Maruti on road... Yuck.

@jaya we cant expec manufacturers to give us same quality that was offered 15 years ago.
15 yr ago also maruti was 2 lac and now also it is 2 lacs

But see the inflation. So manufacturers have to reduce quality

What I want to know about the above truth, is it just an assumption or manufacturer are admitting it ?

Maruti Suzuki has brought in the price hike for the new Swift DZire by upto Rs.12000. Maruti Suzuki has kept the prices of the petrol engined DZire unchanged, while hiking the prices of the diesel powered DZire.

If you have already booked the car, I don't think the price hike will be applicable to you.

Amount applicable during delivery of the car is the latest ex-showroom price at that time, not the price at the time of booking.

This is outright cheating first by M & M for XUV & now by Maruti.
The hiked rates should be applicable for new bookings. What if I don't find Dzire worth for 12k more ? Who will bear the loss of time of my bookings ?
Car prices should follow house prices where the price of flat is fixed once agreement is done & change in prices applicable only for new bookings.
Same is the case with airline tickets. Wonder what are car manufacturers upto.

My Dzire booking has completed four months today. Dealer although told me that delivery will happen in six weeks, however what bothers me is till date no car has been alloted to my name. I have specifically asked Engine, Chassis and VIN number before i release any disbursements. Even dealer agrees to the same and is not pressurizing me at all for any disbursements. He told that once he gives me the Engine, Chassis and VIN details, I will receive calls about my choice of insurance and then only the disbursement comes in.

The guy at the dealer is pleading me and saying, that they are not getting any ZXI being alloted to them since last 3 weeks or so and Maruti is quiet. Since I am corporate customer they are themselves following up with Maruti etc etc...

Want to drop in a mail to Maruti, hence want to know, whether contact@maruti.co.in is promptly looked at.

It seems MSIL is now fully occupied with diesel versions for Dzire, hence not producing much of petrol variants as demand is lacklustre.
Try switching over to diesel if possible.

My dealer says he gets only 2-3 dezire every month from maruti . It it true that maruti send so lil cars

These are all gimmicks made by the dealers just to put word of mouth.
I have seen many of the dezires in the stock yards of those dealers, in fact swift and Dzire numbers would be in greater numbers in those stock yards.

yeah i searched there are around 1000 maruti dealers in India. Maruti dispatched 15000 dezires in a month. So each dealer should get 15 dezires
