Is the petrol variant be better than jazz petrol?
Booster jet is a very interesting engine , will it be available at launch?

Need to test drive and see for answering your query, IMO it will be very well packaged both in drive and features.

Would like to know if svhs is bound to petrol engines also? Because the early buyers might become fools, if Suzuki change all petrol engines to hybrid few months after launch.

Not at launch, it will be the DDiS with SHVS , petrol SHVS for Maruti might be in late 2016/17. Anyways I don't think it will be like fooling anyone as consistent updates and upgrades are now common in Auto Industry.
The power train remains the same and so I guess a prospective/customer should not be bothered.

The autocar review video clearly shows svhs badge on the 1L turbo petrol in Frankfurt motor show. If Suzuki can launch it alongside the 1.2L engines, they can clearly outsell i20 sales with the immense power and FE which the turbo engine can boast of. Waiting for the turbo petrol engine launch....

The boosterjet will have the SHVS when launched for EU markets in spring 2016.
Not sure yet if WE will get the boosterJet at launch.

Today the training for Baleno is on, will get to know more shortly from Nexa RM's( if you have the contact)

I don't see Maruti offering the 1.0 L BoosterJet engine initially, but might come sometime in 2016/17.
But the fact will remain is that it'll be priced premium, while the 1.2 Petrol & 1.3 Diesel will be attractively priced.

Is the 1L turbo engine 3 cylinder? That would be shame if they plonk it in 1 million inr car IMHO. Ecoboost has 3 cylinder engine and I felt really bad driving that. Bring proper 4 cylinder engines. We are supposed to move forward, not backward.

That is some detailed information [thumbsup] even the base variant get abs and airbags.

Both the jazz and elite i20 costs 5.4 ex showroom for the base model petrol. I think if it's priced at 5.7 it will take away many buyers from the former two.

I think delta looks vfm with an extra alloy wheels from outside. If CVT on delta is priced @7.2L ex showroom, I might buy this. Waiting for price list.. I don't know whether it's a mistake, diesel variant should get 90bhp at least.

Diesel variant will come in 55kw similar to Swift . This is for bringing the Boosterjet engine ( 110 HP) and differentiate it with respect to the DDiS200 in performance.

The delta variant seems to have everything essential except the height adjustable driver seat. So, there won't be an automatic variant with height adjustable driver seat.

re: Suzuki's New Premium Hatchback Baleno Coming Up!Now Launched

Baleno seems to have a good number of features. What remains to be seen is the way MSIL positions it.

If priced right then we may even get to see God discounts on i20, Figo, Aspire or maybe even Swift DZire too.

Looking at the engine options, I doubt if this will be priced high like S Cross. Anything between 6-9 should be fine for this.

Engine part is a disappointment for me. They should have provided the 1.4 petrol and 90 HP diesel this time; at least to differentiate this vehicle properly from Swift.

At least after the launch of Figo, we can expect the manufacturers to provide a bit more value in terms of horse power/lac and kgm/lac :stupid:

Expect the 1.0 l boosterjet engine with real premium features to phase in Next Year.
