Thanks Ameyam.

And also I see one more weird thing. Say when the car falls in some pothole or hits the speed breaker at some speed and when we apply the brake. I hear a wierd sound. Sorry I am not able to describe the sound. But I have not experienced this in any other car.

Thanks,
DANIEL

Hello,
I am facing one more strange problem with Baleno Delta Petrol.
"Right turn indicators are not working properly"

Parking/Hazard lights are blinking fine, So bulbs seems to be perfect.

Left turn indicator works perfect. But Right turn indicator does not work sometimes.
This problem does not repeat but occurs sometimes. Turn indicator handle works fine, it gets returned to center position after turn gets completed.

Can anybody help? :)
Thanks

Could be a contact issue on the indicator stick on the wheel. Take it to the ASC and ask them to resolve
Noise while braking seems to be nornal. I too hear grunting. But its usually when i am releasing the brakes but there is still some forward motion

Hi,
Is there any problem for baleno petrol because of its low weight(865kp kerb wt)? Is maruthi baleno petrol low weight(865kg) affects adversely( safty ,suspension smoothness,)
will baleno shiver when high speeded vehicles passed through its' side in highways?
i am prefering to buy baleno..but somebody told low weight make problem in baleno..is it correct?
can you help me by giving a suggestion

Low kerb weight means that ride will be stiff. The suspension is a spring mass damper arrangement with base excitation. When there is any movement of base, if mass is greater, its inertia will be higher and ride smoother. With a lower mass, ride will be bouncier. There are ways to get around this through suspension tuning but its always a compromise between ride and handling. And MS has favoured handling

That being said, all cars quiver when hit by the bow wave of a bus passing by at high speed

6 mm sheet? Please check with maruti officials again ? Where they used so much thick sheet. Even the bus floor is made of 6 mm sheet. Does the sheet thickness defines the build quality ?

Make sure you have formatted the usb properly. If not the system won't recognise it and will skip when you change modes.
the sheet-metal of 0.6mm not 6mm , is a plywood floor in bus

From where you get this info. .6 MM can not be used in car. Not even in other major application. Please check the info properly before posting as it may confuse others. Plywood floor can not take 100 people weight.
fyi, sheet metal general thickness ranges from 0.65 to 1.8mm (oem standards), 1.8-2.2 mm is used in brackets , above which is called as plates and forming of plates to prefered design/ shape is not ease and add weight hence no fuel economy. A plywood (6mm -10mm) is not directly laid as floor it's only to make even surface for commuter underneath a ladder type or honeycomb structure reinforcement is provided.

Hi All,

I have contacted my RM to get my baleno delta booking status. RM said i am in priority # 11. Any idea how long it will take further? Any baleno in road induces the thinking about it

Obviously, the whole car is not fabricated in the same metal thickness. Another point to remember is that sheet metal itself cant take any weight when its a flat sheet. In the process of stamping, the sheet is folded and recessed to make bends and these bends make it rigid and capable of taking weight. Doing this with sheer thickness alone would make the chassis too heavy for anything. The skin panels we all critisize the Baleno for, are for aesthetics and aerodynamics. The real strength comes from the sub-structure which we cannot see and feel

[surprise] That's pretty bad buddy, I'll go by the service center guys word, while it's common for rats to play in the engine bay, but very bad that it makes it's way inside.
