Both of them can be re-sprayed with paint. Do check on the alloys for any minor cracks too buddy.

Thanks Akash,

The cut on the Alloy is not too deep the way it appears in the photograph. Will this also require some filling? And will repainting make it as new or would it just be a workaround?

Buddy from the pics what I see is that it would need some filling to be done to cure the scratch. After that, it would be best to get the same fully re-sprayed so that it properly matches in color with all the other alloys. Replacing this one with a new one is also an option but I don't think it is needed in your case as the scratch is not too deep. The repaint would cost around 2K where as the new alloy would cost around 4.5-5K.

Oh man! The sheetmetal on this car is so soft!

Was out parking my car properly and having done so, decided to see if i could set the shock sensors. Having set them, i stepped out and tested the setting with one hand on the front fender and other on the side. When i pushed, the sheet went in & then came back. You know, it flexed. Now there is undulation in the panel just there. Oh well...

I want an advice for my zeta. If i switch off the shock sensors completely but put the anti theft in Mode D,will it trigger the alarm if something is tried upon it forcefully? With the sudden rains and the heavy lightning and sound,my car starts to scream at night disturbing the relatives,so i had no choice rather than setting it off.

Alarm will trigger when someone succeeds in intruding inside the vehicle. It will not trigger if someone bangs the car or tries to pull the door handles, but will trigger if someone succerds in opening the doors or boot.

If your car is parked inside a colony compound, then you can disable the shock sensors. If it is your own gated house, you can manually lock each door from inside and sleep peacefully. [:)]

Ok, someone please tell me how to set those sensors to warn leaners. I set the mode to A and the sersors to ON, then no matter what sensitivity i select, at always shows unsuccessful. If i directly set the sensitivity of p warn, it shows successful but nothing happens. How the hell do you set these?

I park on the road. Where i generally park is shaded by trees & dark. So a lot of smokers come & lean on the car while they go about their business. By lean, i mean they almost sit on top of the bonet or fender. In the swift i had a bonet dent like this which i couldnt push out. So i want the car to beep prewarn to dissuade these people.

No it won't. The sensors detect sound and sudden knocks. When the person leans on the car, if he is careful enough to do this gradually without making a sound, the alarm won't trigger. You can yourself lean on the car and check, but I think sensors don't detect mild pressure.

Ice_wise is right, you can not avoid leaning people shock censors will not work in that case, but our cars are paper cars what to do.

They dont gently lean. This one occassion, I returned home and my car was standing outside. This guy was practically sitting on the front fender with one leg on the ground and the other on the tyre

Dr amar

I tried the app with the head unit but cudnt connect. If you have a separate remote then you should not need it.I guess all the head units are not supported.

There are lot of issues with the new baleno .
The suspension is really poor, car isnt solid enough , just the looks are good otherwise the car seems very light and bumpy.

I also get the same kinda dents on door angle , which seem like small dents from a bit far but when you touch the body nothing is there .

I guess elite i20 is a better option to buy ..
