Hi Kalinga,
Good to read your review of Ertiga Zxi. I too booked my Eritga Zxi Granite Grey from My Car and I am expecting the delivery on 8th July 2014. I too got Alka Zalke as my SE and but found her really dumb and I dont have good experience with her till today. You wont believe that she was not even to fill the Customer Docket properly and discarded the first copy because of too many mistakes and 2nd one too had many cuttings. It took over 3 hours for me for just booking the car and I was the only customer that day. I yesterday had verbal spat with her as well and than I made a complaint to her Sales Manager Hemant and than he was able to control the situation. Never mind. I am pretty much excited about my car and will update everyone on TAI once I receive it. Please let me know Ertiga specific PDI instructions (if any). What all I need to check and all. Also I was told my Maruti that there is no need of under body coating and Teflon coating or paint protection as now a days it not required. I am not going for any accessories right now.

Thanks in advance.
Have a safe ride [:)]

Congrats ...... [:)]

Yes "Alka has that tendency, but you can faith on her. She never commits any false promise to the customer. As p[er my experience she helped me a lot during the process.

Regarding PDI....Checked the VIN first . Check the headlight assembly for any waterleakeage or fog accumulating inside the assembly.

Other PDI liast are same as mentioned in the forum. You can follow that.

If you find any issue with the car during delivery process the take written confirmation to resolve the issue at next service.

Congrats azaadshatru! I would suggest you get the sliding mechanism of the middle-row seats using the upper lever checked for both the halves. In my case, I had to get it greased later to smooth-en the slide. So if needed in your case, it can be done before the delivery.

congrats!!

Congrats on your car!!
I am also maruthi suzuki petrol car owner!!
Enjoy the reliability!
Feel free to rev up your engine because if u don't it wont!!

engine will set to low rpms and will strain to go high!!
But be happy reving.
. Don give much load at high revs
Just let engine go high revs itself

Then about headlight
U can upgrade but going higher wattage is good option with some 4300kelvin is good
If u don't want to burn your headlamp by high wattage
Better go for projector with cutt off (very important)
Also with high low option!! Will be cool
If u want more details of hid upgrade i can give u some Good product links in net.
Just give a reply to this quote

Floor mats
As ertica have unique foot wells
I highly recommend you to get designed a mat from
Mat flooring shop who does flooring like artificial flooring
Ask for rubber or fiber floor mats
They will be having big rolls.
They will measure and cut the mats according to your car layout
Its pretty good and easy to clean .
Also see that it has rubberized coat at its base so it will not skip from place
Else you can keep it by having doube side tape fitted with a strap which shoes and sandles are have. And stick it to floor and the mat and get it placed .

How much did it cost for 3m polishing ?
I am in a idea of doing soo
Dont forget to cleck my car :)

Thanks for the info and please do let me know about the right bulbs and relays (if needed) and the link to get more info.

My Jeannie is May 2014 manufactured and comes with GoodYear Duraplus tyres and I didn't hear anything good about these tyres. When asked the dealer to check the possibility to change them, I got no as answer and they say the tyres are good. Not getting what to do? [confused]

Congrats again... [:)]

Go for Philips relay and bulbs from a reputed shop. Do not go for any duplicate or cheaper brand. I am currently using the Philips relay with Philips bulb. You can refer my post in his thread.

Regarding tyre : If you do not have any budget constraints then you can go for a tyre upgrade. Michelin is the best tyre (Less road noise & comfortable) for upgrade. I have used this brand tyre in my Getz. My next upgrade will the same Michelin for my Ertiga.

Stock tyre is good but little noisy. So do not worry.

if you are mentioning about the hids then
go for these (they are with hids inbuilt)
your car have h4 bulb socket
so u need bi xenon kit with projector
u can plug and play with company harness
this will cost 7k in local, in ebat this is 5k (pair)

BI Xenon HID Projector Model G3 | eBay

this is a 6000k pure white

i think you need to open the headlamp molding , its not a big issue! ,take the kit to any professional accessory shop will do
this is my 6000k hid in factory projectors of my stingray .

Take some time to read the all the paper before sign it.
Check the warranty paper if have any doubt then confirm with your SE. Check the date also.

And cross check again with all your details which need to print on your RC book.

Before taking delivery cross check the car again... Make sure to check 2-3 times for any scratch or dent. Cross check the tolls and all. Immediately check the tire pressure. At dealer place this set to higher side.

When you filling the fuel make it practice to tell the pump attendant that car is a petrol car. :) (I believe your car is ZXi)

Do not forget to take a small gift for the SE. This will help your relationship with staffs of the dealer.

Here we go !!! Friends please welcome the new member of our family, LUV of my life, My Jeannie !!! will upload more pics soon.
Congrats......azaadshatru....... [clap]
Hope you follow the PDI list at the time of car delivery.

Drive safe and enjoy the ride.
Just keep the RPM low for first 1000 KM. Do not go above 2000 RPM between gear changes.
After 1000 km you can open up the engine gradually.

If possible do a paint protection treatment from a reputed detailer. The monsoon is round the corner. This will help the car color intact during rainy season.
You can then top up it with wax at home frequently.

I am following the above process till now. :)

My first drive to Pandharpur. 429 KM, 16.3 KMPL, full time A/c, Buttery smooth drive, kept RPM between 2500-3000, ran in 5th gear for almost 300Kms. Easy vertaking without shifting gears. Wow what an experience [drive][:D]

ODO is showing 700 KM. need to go for first service soon. Any suggestions??? Maruti says thy dont change the oil before 3rd service. Is it true?
