As of now no mods planned. My car has 4 yrs of ext. Warranty so can not mod anything till the warranty expire.

I have upgraded the headlamp bulb to a Philips EV with stock wattage.
Waiting for a good upgrdation for my fog lamp.
I could not find a proper replacement till now.

I will update the Wax review later.
there are some nice threads buried in this forum about headlight upgrade. one was about xuv 500. and a few more about Ford figo. would be worthwhile to read. how about using external lamps? these could keep your warranty intact.

Update:

At last i have upgraded my head lamp to 100/90 setup with all PHILIPS set up. Relay & lamp both are from Philips.
Bulb is Philips Essential vision.

Now the output is just amazing. The cost is Rs.2200 only. Ignore the bulb inside this cover.
These are Philips Extreme Vision. I kept them in these covers for future use. :)

Now Check the output :

Only Low Beam :

Low Beam + Fog Lamp

Only High Beam :

The beam color is almost the same 4300K HID beam.

Also added MINDA Trumpet horn (AUDI / SKODA type) to my car. Price was Rs. 800.

Now my car is ready for the Night highway drive. :)

2.2k is too much to invest in dingy incandescents. 4k gives you hid and 6-10k gives you led.

however if you're satisfied, good work.

You are right bhvm. This is little over priced. But i choose the all Philips set up. If i choose other then i can get this setup max in Rs 1600.

A good HID setup is above 7k. HID without projector is not good.
HID+Projector will cost around 15k to 20k.

And spare like ballast / HID bulb is pricy if anyone fails. So i choose this setup.

Anyway this satisfy my purpose. :)

The bulb was pricey. And the price including installation charges.
Pune is little pricey in every aspect. [:)]
But the same Philips 100/90 cost me just 1500.
Is it pricey there?
Pair of 90/100w Philips bulbs cost 500~600 a PAIR in my area. Of course No brand bulbs start from Rs 200 a Pair. And I did'nt find a dime of Difference between No Brand and Phillips. So Phillips is looting twice~Thrice the price for Branding. lets Throw in 500 For install and few more for relay and wire, Still your Setup should be MAX 1200.

These are stupid Incandescents anyways and their manufacturing should'nt cost more than 20~40 Rs per Piece.

And You fellas seem to have been paying WAY too much.

But If the Light Output made you happy and safer ride, I say its worth it.

Bro, are the upgraded headlamps enough for you in any conditions? Highways or rain?
Because I find even my 100/90 Philips bulbs to be not enough as it doesn't reach the required distance. In high beam, it doesn't reach upto a truck's loading height even in the highest level. Is this a problem with focusing or the bulbs? It becomes worse in a heavy rain.

Did you check the head light leveler near the fog lamp switch?
Make the leveler to '0' position. This level is the highest.

If the above is correct and still you are getting less length in high beam then i suggest trying with another brand bulb.

If the bulb change also not works then please contact the MASS to rectify this issue.

Yesterday completed 400 KM drive all in night.
I am really happy that i choose this setup.

Excellent HID like light emission (4300k HID). High beam is excellent.
Low beam is ok. I do not have any issue while driving in night with good speed.

Sir, does the upgraded headlamps of your LUV reach high enough to show a truck without reflectors? Because the light illumination is almost the same as shown in your pics.
This seems to be quite low. Usually the high beam will reach higher enough to light up the oncoming vehicle's cabin right?

Hi Bro...
Plz do not call me Sir. [:)]

Yes what is in pics was a wall just near the car park.

I did not have any issue in my last 400KM night drive. This setup has enough illumination to lighten up the road and parked truck without light.

Even my light forced the oncoming truckers to dim their light.
But a little adjustment can up the level. I will try to do that and let you know.

Hi KALINGA, from where in Pune did you get this done?
I got this setup from "Car Cupid" at Pshan.
