Its a good time to be an auto enthusiast-so many new cars, new variants and launces every 2months or so
Perhaps it is time to make comparisons across price brakets-perhaps some make the choice based on the best product at the price they want to spend rather than their needs first and the most affordable product that fits their budget. If this is even 30% true then perhaps we at TAI should start best in Price range section (including used cars)?-this could be updated regularly?

Mahindra S101 compact SUV to be called KUV1OO - Looks like Honda's Brio on stilts!
The new Mahindra KUV100 will come with 1.2-litre petrol and diesel engines; official details on this new model to be released on December 18, 2015.

Teaser image of Mahindra Code named S101 is out. Lunch is on 18th Dec 15. As per Facebook name yet to be revealed.

Is this a competitor to newly launched baleno? Or it's going to be a segment lower? I'm confused which segment does this belong.

Buddies, as per the official revert received by me today morning, tomorrow only the name will be officially announced and no launch is going to take place tomorrow. I have been informed further that even prototype may not be shown tomorrow. The webcast will certainly follow as has been scheduled. The press conference of the name announcement by Mahindra will take place at Goregaon, Mumbai as has been told to me.

So Just like TUV3OO, first mahindra will announce the name & some sketches of S101 (for me surely it's KUV1OO) then MahindraKUV1OO website will go live. Mahindra definitely have Best marketing people in Auto industry. They know how to keep people's interest live for long time.
I want to see how mahindra will describe it as SUV instead of hatchback.

New platform, new engine named as mFalcon. There are two engine option, Petrol & Diesel.
KUV100's petrol and diesel mills are both 1.2-litre units. Petrol (G80) makes 80 horses, the diesel (D75) makes 75.
Launch date is 15th Jan 2016.
Name is released, as expected it's "KUV1OO".

I hope they're not the lousy engines from tuv 300 which gives sluggish performance. mfalcon is an interesting name.

With this design now Renault Kwid will have a real tough time. A really aggressive looking hatchback. Indeed now pricing will play a major role.
