That's partially true. I can see the indicator and tire both at 1 mm difference which means it is indeed WORN OUT completely.
Went for a long trip but drove cautiously and the trip was good. Although tire noise was too high, the ride was good and in fact, I find the ride in Xcent much better than XUV or SX4. Latter both bounces like anything and I can't believe how bad the bouncing in SX4 after I drive my Xcent.
The plan was to update the tire once I came back from the trip and until then, it will be used by my uncle to run some errands and mostly won't run much. It will run 500km at max after 3 months.

I also went for a long trip yesterday, there were 4 adults 3 medium built and me on the heavier side. We went to western border of Indo-Pakistan border to offer our prayers at Tanot Mata Temple. It is 180kms from my place. Cruised between 80-100kph without any problem, above 120kph the steering feels featherly light which makes you nervous. At times we had race with a swift vdi and car didnt show any problem in going from 90 to 140 it just pushed itself after putting some weight on accerlator. AC nedds to be mentioned here, at times we were finding it hard to attain that soothing temperature(it was 42.3'C outside) but still manageable. Breaking was ultra good, because while we were coming back it was 8 pm and a three wheeler in front of us which was around 10mts away applied harsh breaks in the middle of the road and did not have tail lights, Xcent behaved well in coming down from 80 to 0 in short span of time. The only problem which is bothering me is a "hummmm" and vibration in the gear stick when taking a sharp right turn at very low speed or say taking a u turn, doesnt happen while taking a left turn, we get this rectified on my next service.

I am leaving Country only on 18th Nov. But since my running is low till then, I left my Xcent at home and using my uncles XUV for time being which he will take back before 18th. Once I return back from my trip, which is Feb 1st week, I will straight away take it to Tyre shop. Will update then.
I guess your update will happen before mine!

Ok. I will change the tyres next year only. One query, i saw your post for front bumper painting. can you tell me how much they charged for paint, is it a touch up or full painting?

Entire front bumper was replaced and painted and it costed me close to 10.5k including one fog-lamp assembly as well. Will check the bill and update you the price for painting alone.

Finally took delivery of my Xcent SX P. Got a good deal. Xcent SX for Rs. 6.8 lakhs and exchanged Wagon R for Rs. 3.6 lakhs.
