Re: Life with the All New Hyundai Verna

that's bad. but sometimes even after applying hand break some cars move a lil bit then stop. but if you say it's not at all working then get it checked asap.

same here , i too have to use it for 4-5 years. i have noticed the sensors beep even if there's a cloth hanging.

and did you see if you had a small speed breaker or anything ? because even if there's something lying low , the sensors beep.

the state of elantra will be the same as verna. when it'll launch , a huge hype then it'll become over hyped car and then another nickandre , ****azooka , allhyundaicars will report about elantra problems.
Quite a honest estimation from you guys here ,just see how perceived mythical value of a company make people go blind people are still begging at dealers please give my verna sooner only to get into a much bigger problem later.
People blast tata but they never let down any owner with warranty if you have problem in suspension they will change the entire thing for you .
Here Honda really scores their products are not just bling they are reliable ,they ask more money and that extra money is for peace of mind , and problem free experience of their cars.
As vaibhav said seriously once out of warranty this verna is going to be a pain maintaining .

Re: Life with the All New Hyundai Verna

vaibhav use the fresh air intake on for few minutes when ever you feel stuffy. Fresh air intake decreases cooling efficiency and if your ac system has no filter the dirt can clog your coil in future. Whenever i feel stuffy i draw the windows down for a minute or two.

the elantra seems to be nicely priced, the petrol engine they claim 16.xx km/l i wonder on their 1.6l engines fitted to a lighter verna body they promised 17.03 and it isn't really what we get and this elantras 1.8l fitted to a heavier body what should we get? Kind of heard from many and seen on a few forums including a friend who has an accent, getz and the new sonata they all say hyundais get expensive to maintain after some time they guzzle fuel.

Re: Life with the All New Hyundai Verna

suppose you are driving with ac on for say more then 30-40 minutes since the ac is on re-circulation mode level of oxygen drops in the cabin hence you switch to fresh air intake for say 5 minutes. For me i start feeling sleepy and begin to yawn a lot if i dont open the windows or fresh air intake every 60-90minutes or while in heavy traffic with more occupants even lesser.

Dear
I am getting confused. There are 2 buttons in dezire.
1 for AC and 2nd one for this.
SO i should press 1st button all the time with ac button ?

Re: Life with the All New Hyundai Verna

the ac button is only for the compressor. When you press it the light on the button will glow and when it does cooling takes place, when you switch it of the fan will work but cooling will not happen. The second button will either have a straight arrow(fresh air intake) or an arrow the shape of a 'U'(recirculation) Some cars when you press this button its on re-circulation, when you depress it goes on fresh air intake, some other cars have a light when it illuminates its on re-circulation.
