Hi TAI members,

I have bought a 1.6 CDRI( base model) wanted to fix a rearview camera with LCD Mirror( which comes in 1.6 SX) can you pls advise me to get it done at dealer- workshop. many times i enquired about this but dearlship could not give me a solution dispite asking me to go with local accesorries shop for a multibrand rearview kits. but i am not interested in going with that.

i am getting some noise from dash board when car moves on bad roads. The noise is like some screw playing in dash board or HU. I am little worried if the noise is from left front air bag screw.

Also on highway when car goes over patholes or bad section in speed, the car behave like boat. means i feel the car loose the traction. Same type of body roll feeled in mumbai local trains. What can be the issue?

get the dashboard noise checked on a priority bases if you feel its a screw noise.

about the boat feel in yes it gets annoying it just looses its line and steers somewhere else for a while. Its the suspension i guess. Just try avoiding irregularities and you will be fine. Mumbai locals are far more worse!

For the rear view mirror of SX version you have to pay 40K for the mirror alone + camera extra

Like your dealer said go ahead with aftermarket one if you are keen on reverse camera else you have to live with the stock parking sensor

ah this sucks. i have still not noticed this on my car. BTW sometimes i also think of getting the reverse camera but it's been 6 months and i'm getting used to the place where i park daily

i hope you know what i'm talking about. have you seen the place where i park

Yea But what if you have to park tight in the city then you need a reverse camera for sure..!!!
For me Sedan = Definite need for reverse camera
For the reverse camera you could get it for 1.5 K to all the way up and anything which tampers the OEM wiring will make your Warranty void else makes sure that no wire is cut for the fitment of the same.

I don't think these days people cut the OEM wiring Every thing is plug in type

Any one can share details for the second service or 10k service of Fluidic CRDi? What was the cost and what all things are changed?

paaji i think oil is some 1200 or so, airfilter 300-400, oil filter 300 or so, diesel filter 1800, drain plug with washer 80 bucks or just washer even less.

oh forgot, 2 bucks sunsilk or any shampoo sachet works wonders. I told them do not bother touching the windshield reservoir or else i will make you guys drain it if you charge me. I have a bottle of armorall windshield wash concentrate seems to be doing the same work as hair shampoo is.

Guy, is there any way i can improve the under thigh support of my verna ? some after market thingy ? I dont care about leg room.

I don't think that you can do anything to increase the under thigh support But for the soft suspension heard that Auto runner has rubber pad which cost 2K per piece and are worth it

Seems a good deal rather than 40K aftermarket suspension

USB not working in Hyundai Fluidic Verna

Hey Guys, I own a Fluidic Verna. I used to use a 16GB Sandisk cruzer micro for music. I recently had to buy a new pen drive as I misplaced the old one. I bought a HP v165w 16GB pendrive. However this one does not work. Any ideas as to why? This is driving me crazy. Can you suggest as what I should do to get 16 gb pendrive working, as an 8Gb pen drive is not sufficient for me. Also the entertainment system is the one which came inbuit from the company. Any help appreciated.

Ha Ha! You also faced this problem. Actually the stock ICE works only with select make pen drives such as sandisk, Kingston. Dont know why this. I have 4 nos of transcend pen drive but none worked. so i bought kingston 16 GB which now works very well.

Try to format the pen drive with FAT32 system.
