No. Oil leak will be present wherever the leak is.
Check the image. One is leakage from the pipes and another image is of my i10's cooling coil. Bill is attached.

^^ Got it. Thanks bro! BTW I will check it up tomorrow. From what I have searched online, cooling coil price seems to be 2.3k and I guess that is what you have changed! Am I right? But in bill it mention something else! Can you explain me about this? Sorry to bug you a lot about this.

weird thing happened today. i was driving and wanted to accelerate ahead. i pressed and nothing happened, i fully pressed the accelerator and it was as if the pedal was dead. car did not accelerate even a bit and both rpm and speed needle remained stuck where they were. this happened atleast 4 times today on the 5th and once on 4th gear. however due to traffic and all when i slowed to diff gears etc the problem somehow vanished. what could be the issue as its dangerous if it happens in a overtaking move midway??

also anyway to fix the mirror cheaper than 2k in gurgaon/delhi ? this is for magna variant with electric adjustable mirror. don't mind a used one too as long as it works.

anybody opted for extended warranty for xcent?
i have 3rd year extended warranty and recently did my 1st paid service before the extended warranty expires. but shockingly, i was quoted 14k+ as service estimate at modi hyundai, mumbai. i somehow removed not essential services and brought down the cost to 8.5k which is still too high to be spent on a hyundai car on 3rd year. i had the impression that extended warranty covers labour cost too but realized i was wrong and ended up paying a lot for labour charges.

Yes I have taken the extend warranty for 3-4 year.
Labour cost is just too high. Even I did my 1st paid service last month. Total bill was around 9K. It's a rip off. They charge excess for everything.

You actually didn't tell us what all you got done at the service.

Well, I've not been fortunate enough to convince Garve Hyundai until yesterday on my clutch hardening and poor gear shift issues with my 3 month old Grand i10, I had 2 unscheduled visits in last one month as I was invited by them responding to a COMPLAINT I raised @CSR, impact of complaint @CSR is grand which I suspect being a new customer I am honored with and god knows after a year or so would it still work. I am now assured reading your post Nitinmehta that HASS have weak hearing abilities and right I would suggest them to get machines helping them. In my case the issues are intermittent, my bad luck, If you start the car and drive it on smooth pitch for 20 KMs you will prove me wrong or may even recommend some driving schools,
BUT the moment you stuck in B2B traffic and frequent use of gear change and bite point on clutch, the car begins fighting with driver, gears will not settle into slot, and make various sounds (springs / Hiss / thud etc) clutch will become hard enough to make you stand on it, same thing happens when you drive it in top gear with full throttle or on very bad roads in 1st gear.
to resolve this you have to give a break , stop the car , turn off and wait and restart and all these issues will disappear...!! God knows what goes wrong. my complaint is escalated twice, last time the Hyundai Service manager himself drove it and found nothing wrong and I'm again invited HASS this weekend let's test the luck
Guys, I'm back after almost a year since didn't have anything to update, I had almost lost the battle unless last month when I thought to give it yet another try, and it worked. I escalated the clutch hardness issues one more time writing e-mail on top of my last followup in Aug -2016. I immediately got a call from dealership as well as Hyundai. at the beginning dealership tried to dodge the complaint blaming on my driving style, as usual, However I strictly denied to speak with them and prefer to speak with Hyundai rather, who after 3 days of followup agreed to replace my entire clutch assembly (clutch plate, pressure plate, cable, bearings), I took the car to dealership on Saturday morning 9:30 , the technician assigned to do the job was recently hired and had 9+ years experience on Toyotas. the job was done by 7 PM and I was taken for a test ride with SA, the clutch was super soft , I was the happiest person on earth that day......but for 3 days only.
It started getting harder after 200 KMs on ODO, again observed same trend of getting harder with speed. now not sure what is wrong if not clutch assembly.

Point number 2,3,4 and 5 can be avioded. Similarly, Throttle and Fuel injector cleaning can also be avoided. Don't know what all they cover under PMS?

@akshat - it's a little confusing to know what all you got done. Can you write the same ?

@ swadesh - never go for the items 2,3,4,5.
Fuel injector and injector cleaning to be done at every 25k-30k. No need before that.

In labor items , 1,5,6 are not required. Did they change the pads as well ? Why did they charge for brake pad replacement ?

@ grandrk- pms covers labor for changing oil , filter , washing and engine tuning ( cleaning spark plugs ) and a thorough check of the engine and other things.

Thanks, Will ensure next time that these things are not repeated.

Also advice is Synthetic oil should be continued or switch to normal oil. Since cost difference is almost Thrice ! .
