Believe figo and swift are the only cars in this segment with the least bodyroll.don't know about polo.but we got to admit that the interior fit and finish is too good and gives an upmarket feel to the occupants :)

But am sure thar other fiends must be busy or something. Otherwise lot of ideas/suggestions must be pouring. Mostly probably all of them should be silent spectators and whenever required they will pitch in. Even I do the same when I see some threads.

but i only see the owners discussing and resolving problems on there own and with the tenure i've spent with TAI i know that there are seniors capable enough to help out with queries however only observed sethu giving feedbacks and helping out honestly

The dual tone interior colour scheme of Grand i10 is quite cool and elegant..
The coloured dashboards are said to have its reflection on the windscreen in some cars. What about Grand 10?

This is true for cars who have complete light coloured dashboard till the windshiled.
Gran has black colour on the top side of dashboard (which is the reflecting surface) hence no issues of reflection.

sir i wanted to tell you that this is the same reason i cancelled my booking with rana motors delhi last year. simple reason being the sa was asking me 1 lakh rupees after I had paid booking of 50k.
i requested him to get the car even after waiting for 4 months however after his behavior i lost patience and didn't negotiate further and cancelled the car.
i agree from sa point that he won't like to stock car in yard for week or so however from customer point of view :-
i would want to do a PDI before making full payment or any payment for that matter.
sir in your case no finance is involved. this process should be crystal clear.
1. you do the booking (paid 50k already done)
2. sa logs call for vehicle (car is locked in your booking)
3. sa provides VIN and chassis number with colour pref and manufacturing promised
4.if possible you get the PDI done (again you have not paid anything except booking amount)
5. even if PDI not done you go with full amount
6. be satisfied with PDI and pay in full and get the receipt
7. RTO is provided and papers go for registration
there are insurance and other accessories part involved however I just summarized basic steps to ensure that you have avoided any foul play from SA

See there is no risk involved in it, Make payment and take genuine receipt. As far as make is concerned I dont think anyone has any grand in stock as demand is very high. They will give you a fresh batch car only but you tell him beforehand that you will only accept the car belonging to November or later batch. Transfer him money through RTGS if you cant personally go and take receipt. If you show hesitation he might give the car to anyone else as there is huge demand, and you might have to wait for one more month.

its not just dual tone interior scheme of grand but if you also observe the plastic quality of interiors there's lot of difference as compared to ritz or swift.
you get a grand feel when you actually sit in grand i 10

just test drove diesel ritz this morning but couldn't experience body roll as on sa sitting on back seat
again going for td of grand i 10 tommorow morning
while typing this msg just got call from ford figo diesel SA and now going for TD in few minutes

I got my first servicing done from Trident Hyundai Bangalore. The car looks plush and brand new .
I also got the 3M Underbody done with 5 years warranty from Trident HASS itself . They charged me just 2300 Rs for the same including tax :) . My colleague who owns a Brio got it done for 3500 Rs. Not sure why there is such big difference between the two !
I didn't get the software update as the service guy told me this was not available with them now. Once it arrives they will call all owners and update it. Also i could not find mud flaps from my car for the same reason that for Grand it hasn't come out yet at the service stations.

2300 for underbody, Thats a great deal anshul :). I am also thinking of getting it done in next 10 days during my first service. I dont know why everyone else is telling me of non availability of mud flaps and seat cover but i got it from dealer on the first day itself. I suspected that they are of old i10 but they are fitting well with my grand. You can see in pics i posted.
