You shouldn't drive in flip flops. Especially on long journeys. Just google it.
I meant I wear flip flops! [:D] For its convenience. I always remove flip flops once I start driving. Because I like to drive in control and so bare foot is better than flip flops and I knew it [:)] ! I mentioned it, because of the A/C discussion that I had with @parth1231. Because even after I set the A/C flow to my face only, it still cools my feet and this led you believe I drive with flip flops!!!! [lol]

Its nice to hear the climbing experience from you all. Mine is petrol one and it climbed in 2nd gear [:D]
I will try it in 3rd gear next time. But by doing this are we providing any harm to engine ?
Hello guys, once again i have reached same incline and this time as well there were three adults including me. I have tried once more with 2nd gear and zero accelerator input to just make sure what i did last time was real. As usual my Grand started to climb it exactly like last time.

So now it was time to check it using 3rd gear. Hence taken U turn, again came back at the base of incline, shifted to 3rd and left the foot from accelerator, whats then!!

BINGO... the Grand pulled up this time as well without any slack again maintaining "constant" 1000 RPM. [clap]

Note : Though the RPM were low as compared to gear but there was no bogging type of effect and i was more surprise to see that even Gear Shift Indicator also did not indicated to downshift at 2nd.

Can anybody try it down on 3rd and let me know because i want to conclude that Grand can be picked up in 2nd and 3rd gear with zero accelerator input on incline.
Now don't want to check it on 4th [lol]

Anybody doing any modifications to their GRAND?apart from the ICEs.
I did not notice any nice Car wraps on GRAND on the road or even on TAI.

The only noticeable modification spotted by me so far is the front grill replacement by a chrome one.

Well I have the european style drls on my car. You're right about not seeing many modified grands. Even searches on the internet dont bring much results. I am searching for a OEM k&n air filter for my car but havent found one yet. Not a fan of chrome so dont have that on my car.

sure. I got it from aliexpress. Here's the link:

Led Daytime Running Light DRL Fog Light for 2014 Hyundai Grand I10 Hyundai Xcent factory outlet Model B Free Shipping-in Daytime Running Lights from Automobiles & Motorcycles on Aliexpress.com | Alibaba Group

If you decide it to so source from this website ask them to ship it through hong kong postal service. It's much faster. I got mine in 13 days. The drls look really cool. Getting the wiring done from some automotive shop who know their stuff.

Check out page 104 and 105 for the pics of my car and one other guy's car with drls.

3rd free service done at 19800Kms.
The engine noise is better(it used to grunt a bit when reved past 2500Rpms)
Best thing is throttle response, may be its because of the air filter replacement but I am just loving it[clap]
The clutch biting point is changed and getting used to it.

Why they always keep on changing clutch bite point in every service?
parth1231, can you let us know where they have tuned the biting point, is it at lower end or higher end?

Mine is at very higher end.Still not getting used to it.
how is yours?
I just completed 2nd service and they have tuned it slightly above the initial one. And yes, you are right, we need sometime to get used to it.
After servicing when i was taking my car out of service center, there i realized that my clutch settings are changed, need to release the pedal bit more than usual to get going.
That's why i was wondering why every time they keep on changing these setting, is it true with other cars as well or it happens only with Grand i10 [;)]

They will normally tune it in service for every car. For new GRAND the biting point is a bit too much towards bottom hence we feel lot of difference when they change it.
this time they set it too much towards top almost no play[anger].
