I would suggest you to start with authorized tyre shop, if yours is stock tyres of grand, then it is usually Goodyear, I guess. Also try to get the alloys checked up once in HASS.
My Grand i10 had been supplied with Apollo Amazer tyres. Is it better than Goodyear? I guess I have to find an Apollo tyre shop to check them.

Re: My Hyundai Grand i10 Asta (O) Petrol Ownership Review

So, if the RPM is around 1 - 1.5, and I am in 3rd gear, it slowly increases speed - is this good for fuel efficiency? Or would it better to downshift and keep rpm at 2. Which is more suitable? I often have to switch between 2nd and 3rd gear frequently during slow traffic - is it better to: 1) downshift and keep revving between 1.8 and 2.3 rpm (the car does not feel smooth) (does this mean since more power is being used fuel is also used more) or 2) upshift to 3rd gear, rpm is between 1 and 1.8 - takes time to increase speed (does this mean more power is being used and more fuel?)
Keep in 2nd if you are driving upto 20 Kmph, shift to 3rd for more than 20 Kmph. If you go by RPM then shift up for 3000 RPM and shift down for 1500 RPM.

I got 3rd year extended warranty at Rs.3368
I too got it for Rs 3368 /

My grand came with Apollo Amazer 3g Maxx

Keep in 2nd if you are driving upto 20 Kmph, shift to 3rd for more than 20 Kmph. If you go by RPM then shift up for 3000 RPM and shift down for 1500 RPM.
I observed that if the car crosses btw 10 to 15, gearshift indicator asking to upshift to 2nd gear. If it reaches 25 kmph, asking to upshift to 3rd gear and if you cross btw 35 to 40, upshift to 4 and till 60 , it never shows to upshift to 5th gear.

I hear a minor tweak sound while adjusting the right hand side mirror which was not the case till yesterday. The left hand mirror adjustment works fine and I don't hear any sounds. Can somebody explain what might be the cause for this and what needs to be done to rectify this ?

Both are stock, not much to differentiate. But yeah Apollo's are more silent and have slightly better grip. So did you find out what the problem is?

Has your right hand side mirror ever been struck hard by anything? I face the same thing often since the mirror had been struck by pedestrians, bikes, cars earlier. Nothing was damaged seriously and is still functional, however some plastics inside may have a crack or misalignment which is causing those tweak sounds. This is nothing serious though. You may want to try opening it and see if everything's fine.

Not yet. I'll try visiting those specialist tyre shops of Apollo in the weekend. Yesterday, I had checked the air pressure again (after i filled up on Friday), the pressure were down again - the front left was down to 27 and the right, to 24. [cry]

Yes, a pedestrain struck the mirror in my parked car when he was walking. But that was left hand side mirror where I don't get any sounds. The sound coming from the the right hand side mirror.

take a torch and see the area where the hinges are there just below it you should see it. to remove it i think you will have apply pressurized air or dismantle it which i think is not a good option.

if we lock all the doors and get out and if we don't press the lock button in the key, will the car lock automatically after some time or not? other grand owners please confirm.

If it does not Don't you guys think that would be a risk of safety if we forget to press the lock key.

As far as I know, car wont lock automatically. But car ignition can't be turned on if one doesn't have the key inside the car.

Re: My Hyundai Grand i10 Asta (O) Petrol Ownership Review

Facing problem with driver side tyre.........
Air pressure getting decreased.
2-3 months back it used to decrease till 25 where as others stay at 30.(every 15 days)

now a days i need to refill this tyre every 3-4 days exclusively(it used to go till 14-18)

what can be reason? Puncture or value problem..

is there any solution to this types of problem or just replace it??

Buddy, I assume a minor puncture. Possibly the air inflator too could be at fault. Best is to use nitrogen. The decrease in air pressure is not at all sharp as to what you mentioned. My car's Nitrogen needs a top up in 60 days.

Recently i observed little bit of brittles on side of this tyre, it indicates that i am more often driving car with less air pressure.

what worrying me it worsened from past 4 months. if i use it so it may make my trye useless [evil]
