Re: Hyundai Fluidic Verna VTVT SX (O) 2 Years and 30,000 Kms

brought it from usa. It will be costly if you import it online. Try dodo juice as well if you choose to order online their products are awesome.
I was just checking, I don’t need these that much. I see online earlier they make awesome products for different purpose. If it was like ABRO imported in INR cheaper price then definitely I would try it.

People in US looks for a false clam like the seat belt end chrome metal hook to put that into the seat belt lock to stop that noise, those love to drive in village area without seatbelt and you’re saying to get this?
Ahh.
Well I would love to have an alarm for all passengers seat belt as well [drive].

yea its a sad thing hyundai does not have a sensor for passenger seat belts. Neither does the alarm for the drivers belt stay on or keeps flashing.

Wearing seatbelt in car and Helmet in bike are same. I love both, when I put seat belt in local roads my friends sometime says why that? but I love to wear it, same with bike. I have a custom made Bluetooth setup full helmet but no use for long time. But for this car when putting seat cover I had to remove rear seatbelt locks as it may sometime give trouble to the rear passenger, but I didn’t remove the belts.

when i was a kid my dad always made me wear a seat belt, now i feel weird without wearing one even for a trip of a km. Also before i push the start button i tell all and harass them seat belts please. Would be better to see the passengers in my car in the same ward rather then 6 feet under the ground incase of any mishap.

ATTENTION to all verna owners:
I had my verna on stock bridgestone tire's.There has been problems of bubbles on many verna's.I too had the problem,so i changed the tire with bubbles with spare tire.
Yesterday i had a tire blowout,in which the whole tire became unusable. It was dad driving with 20 years of experience of driving cars and he somehow managed to control the car. This happened at speeds of 80-90.There was no damage to alloy wheel. Now i am forced to use this tires and we are not willing to drive above 60.Thinking of changing all 4 tires.Just to make people aware, those with these bridgestone tires should seriously thing before driving at high speeds. These tires are total crap (so is the company) and i would not buy anything from bridgestone in future, even if its free.Just for some extra $$ they risk the lives of their customer's. Also, hyundai may have done some real cost cutting by buying this crap from bridgestone for cheap.

This is really awful, how many km the tire run so far? And what is the bubbles issue on many verna? I’m not aware about that. Please explain, that would be helpful. I thought Bridgestone is a good brand.

OMG.. thats really shocking man. Thank god your dad managed to control the car, he is really great.
I think you should take it to showroom and complain to Hyundai about this.

That's bad and good to know that your dad controlled the car.

By any chance was the tyre over inflated? but yeah some other members too reported bubble issues. I have MRF ZVTV (no alloys)

That is definitely life threatening and I think you should raise the issue with both Hyundai as well as Bridgestone for putting a customers life at risk.
Did the car hit any rock or anything lying on the road at that speed or was it a sudden burst?
I too don't like these tires but for me its the noise, lets see in future if there is any bubble issue or anything else.
I thought these are hard/medium compound tires so speed of 80-100 is not supposed to be an issue for them. Atmospheric temperature is not an issue these days either.
Dump the tires in front of Hyundai ASS or the Bridgestone company and invest in better tires as it is not worth the risk. [Do not use any tire that has bulge as you never know it might happen again]
Do report back on Hyundai's reply on this problem.

Re: Hyundai Fluidic Verna VTVT SX (O) 2 Years and 30,000 Kms

Thanks everyone for the suggestions.
@soumen-The tire may have run 20k km as it's changed during tire rotation. The bubble issue, I think, had affected mostly early models (maybe 2012 ones). Due to this, there used to be a small bludge on the sidewall. I think this was with Bridgestone b250 tires. Newer cars come with 'my-02' or something like that. I too though that Bridgestone was a good brand and their tire lasted for 75k kms on my Santro. Don't know what happened with the tires in verna.
@nayan, I had already complained about this to hyundai and they took pics of the tires and forwarded them to Bridgestone.
@allhyundai,no the tires were not over inflated. I keep a good check on pressure's and had even purchased a tire pressure monitor gauge for that.
@midknight,no, the car did not hit any rock and I have no clue of what was the problem. I have already reported this to hyundai and emailed Bridgestone. The guys at hyundai ASS act as this bubble problem is minor and they say that it's due to my driving. There was a verna owner who met me there and he had the same problem of bubble and had already changed on of the tire due to the problem.

Thank God that your dad is safe. Cant expect such tragedy with a great brand like bridgestone. Bubble means a weak spot which will definitely get weaker as the internal tire pressure grows in high speed. We have to be vigilance before we're out for a long drive. Tire looks horrible!! your dad really had a good control over the vehicle.

Re: Hyundai Fluidic Verna VTVT SX (O) 2 Years and 30,000 Kms

when i got my car the first thing i did was change the tires. Even a bridgestone dealer told me the b250 that the verna is fitted with has lots of customers complaining of sidewall tears or bubbles or early thread wear. I changed my yokohamas at 32k km due to three tires having bubbles it could be the low profile i went with combined with mumbai's moon like roads.
The dealer was surprised that at 32k most of the tires threads had done more then half of its life, most of it was hinting to alignment issues but i always have the alignment done at 5000km.
