Today while on the bridge. A lorry came backward and hit my verna on front while on traffic. The front Hyundai H logo grill got major hit, it went inside and the bumper got big scratches.
Can you guys confirm if the H logo is a part of front bumper or not. Also the cost of replacing the front bumper and H logo part. Also how many days it will take. I am from Chennai.

Lost radiator cap today. Had to tow the vehicle to the nearest service station. Initially they told me that radiator caps don't match with other cars and entire radiator has to be replaced. After a lot of argument, they agreed to arrange for a radiator neck along with the cap for 300-400 bucks. Awaiting to get the vehicle delivered tomorrow.
I have no idea though how radiator cap was lost though.

I don't think Hyundai logo is a part of bumper. Bumper costs around 1500-2000 bucks and around 5000 for painting. In total, it will be around 7000 for bumper. Painting cost may vary slightly depends on the color.

I am sorry, I don't know the price for the Logo part but I don't recommend for claiming insurance if the overall damage is below 10K. You can get NCB on your next premium.

@meaculpa that's very unfortunate [:(] . I don't think the Hyundai badge comes along with the front bumper man but you can get one via Hyundai spares .
Guys, I find my armrest getting dirty as days passes by . Any idea on cleaning/ covering by any means? Suggestions welcome .

I would like to request other members to share what products [ polish/wax ] they use to keep the car shinning? Or does everyone send their car to dedicated detailer?
When does seat belt warning sound start? After the initial 6 beeps? In my car I tried without seat belt till 35km/h and nothing. But previously when I removed the seat belt at 20Km/h [ Only out of socket] while driving it started giving the sound.

Unlike i20, Verna seat belt warning only beeps for 6 times and becomes silent. While in i20 it keeps beeping till you put the seat belt on.

Welcome to the Verna family bro . I use formula1 products for exterior care . So yours a petrol a diesel one? Initially during ignition there comes the seat belt warning and if the seat belt in Unlocked in the middle then the warning beeps and goes off . It is best advised to drive with seat belt . Happy miles ahead !

I use the same for wooden trims also. But I don't rub it too hard. Wooden trims and glossy black trims across the HU is really prone to scratch and you can hardly do anything to save it from scratches.
