Re: Hyundai Verna Fluidic SX (O) Experience

went to service center today morning.
moisture problem not solved as there was no moisture in headlamp at that time and they need to take photos themselves to claim it under warranty.

They tighten the front suspension.. did some lubrication and torque adjustment like nick said. i do feel front suspensions are less bumpy. He took only 10 minutes to do it.
asked him are they going to call for tsb. he told me that if they call they will do the same thing that we did in your car now. may be he do not know if something else can or will be done later to solve this issue.

@ashok
you mentioned "amps" . how many amps have you put ? and are you using stock HU?
give details about your ICE if you can ...

Welcome to TAI... I believe you are the senior w.r.t kms with fluidic verna.. So you should lot many points to share with us....

I am interested to know few points from you.. (by the way, I am yet to get my booked machine)

1. Did u made many adjustments to your soft suspension? Both front and rear
2. Any adjustment on the auto door lock ( few members say it gets ON when we are beyond 40km/hr and it can be tuned to reduce the delay) [confused]
3. My thing [;)]. from which dealer did you purchase? how was ur experience with them?

Thanks in Advance

Re: Hyundai Verna Fluidic SX (O) Experience

I shopped at DSC hyundai . CIT Nagar. Delivery was within 7 days as mine was the 3rd booking. Nothing can be done to the soft suspension until Hyundai comes out with a solution. I deal with hyundai directly in business and i got this answer right from the R&D team. They are working on it. The door locks are programmed to lock between 15 to 18 Kmph. It is done via the ECU, It cannot be easily modified. Dealer service is good , but for service i prefer HMP.

Re: Hyundai Verna Fluidic SX (O) Experience

how much did the caska csot you mate and how many pre outs did you get for it
This one is not a caska, I bought it from a Kia/Hyundai accessory shop in guanzhou china. It has 5.1 pre out unlike caska. It comes with navigation, 6 Virtual compact Disc play, Dvd, Bluetooth, SD card,USB,TPMS(Sensors optional),TV (Antenna optional) and Ipod connectivity. It fits to the OEM wiring perfectly except that you will have to run the pre outs to amps (I have used 1 fourway pioneer and one monobloc for the subwoofer). You can downmix the 5.1 centre channel to the front speakers via the builtin interface. The steering controls is easily programmable. I would rate the sound quality close to 90% good as of other good quality head units.. I have also added two sony headrest monitors.

Cost
Head unit -Unknown brand (Says Kia/Hyundai on box) - 21000
Pioneer 4 way -amplifier -around 9k (not sure --forgot)
Pioneer monobloc mosfet for sub - 14000
1400watt pioneer subwoofer with eclosure - 9000
speakers(component front, 3way rear) - 11000
monitors sony -with auto switching- 8000 each
wiring --aproximately 4000 (original fox kit)
