sorry akhildeo you can not install it. as the door opens up by connecting with your key fob. and not by signals or manually like we have otherwise. and i am not sure if its even possible to add one possible. i really don't think you will need an anti theft system as the car has an immobilizer. prevents noise pollution this way what say?

Thats what I was told by the dealer . Hope i wont be needing it :) !

But there should be something similiar to that which Hyundai should supply for the people having smart key in their car.

thanks NIck for your input once again , why the hell would hyundai do something so silly , i guess its to make the fe better , one of the MAIN reasons i am selling my esteem is cause the a/c sucks . i hope i dont cry after buying this car cause the a/c wont chilol as per my expectations .
Nick any idea if i can get the 160 cc compressor put into this car !!! i would surely pay the extra amount for it . i guess ill find out from hyundai motor plaza tmrw .

thank you again everyone .
drive safe and god bless .
Sahil .

was doing some research and stumbled on some information, the verna fluidic has a 122 cc a/c compressor while the older verna has a 160cc a/c compressor
and its a variable displacement type compressor.
the i20 has a 90cc compressor no wonder many face issues with the effectiveness of the ac
the fluidic verna uses 400-445 grams of r134a gas.

its in order to save fuel efficiency and to provide less strain on the engine. i do not see any one complaining of cooling issues in the verna so i guess you are good to go

i am going to get sunfilms done in my car today. Should i get it done on the rear windshield too. Will it obstruct the rear view. I am going for approved sunfilms with 53% heat rejection.its costing me around 5000.

rear windhsield and front windshield is from where a lot of heat comes in. suggest you do 3 now and later if you feel warm the front windshield no visibility issues face in rto approved ones

Hi guys,

I have booked a Verna 1.6 SX CRDI on 22nd Dec in Pune. Any idea how much more i have to wait? The dealer is saying March last week or surely by april second week.

How do I know? Just cant wait, already got 4 TDs after booking.

Anyone in Pune getting his car in feb? Just wanted to know when they had booked.

I had booked 1.6 crdi sx on 25 July 2011, at that time i was told 6 months.
when i asked about delivery at Jan 2012 end they told me more 2 months.
and said they will definately give me the car before March end.
My dealer is Kothari hyundai, Tilak road, pune
which is your dealer?
have you taken any delivery date from them on the booking form?
i will say you are lucky that you are going to get your car in just 3 months
i have to wait for 8 months.
