@Kentkits
oh!! so its my treat now [surprise]? hehehe fix a suitable date, time and venue then....
about the antenna, actually i bought it from ebay since i dont like the company setup. heres the link:
Car Replacement Rubber Roof Antenna For Hyundai Verna/New i10 | eBay
Grab the deal before it ends.....
Yea Projectors mujhe dede dbarma and I will give you a bog treat [evil]!!!

Thanks for sharing the info regarding the antenna, I was thinking to use a router antenna as a replacement, LOL. Will try to get it on ebay, my current antenna not creating any trouble, just when putting the car cover on it takes time to put the antenna on the hole otherwise its fine. Moreover I never ever listen the FM/AM radios, only my parents. So even if i remove it no issues.

Ok, regarding the airbags, Checked with my dealer and he says, the face-lifted Verna has only 2 airbags and he has confirmed it. Very very bad move from Hyundai, I know they know lot of people in India going to be very happy to see projector Headlamps at the cost of safety. But I am disappointed [evil]

I was keeping Verna as my backup plan if anything goes wrong with my City booking, now I have to look elsewhere. Mostly the new City will also have 2 airbags, so much for security and safety these companies advocate in press conferences. [frustration]

Verna gives a feeling of disconnect between the steering and vehicle at higher speeds. Probably due to the light steering which is great at low speed(say city driving) but quite awkward while on the highway. (i think this issue might have been fixed on the latest update. Someone needs to confirm this.)
Few people even mentioned that the (apparent) 'thud' sound from the from tyres/shockers was considerably reduced if the tyre pressure was low, say around 32-33psi. I think i read the same thing in this forum somewhere also.

@Dev: Great mileage there. Driving style definitely effects the mileage. I think minimal usage of the accelerator hikes the mileage.
Yes Myth. There is a major disconnect at higher speeds. I never feel comfortable and in control at speeds of 80+ on highways.

I dont listen to fm/am either, this antenna is just for show only but it does a good job receiving signals and its supper flexible, you can band it at any direction with a little force but it wont band even when the car shakes violently [:)]

The projectors might look cool but I doubt the road visiblity is going to increase drastically. dbarma can tell us the difference in this case. One might be better of installing an Xenon HID kit. I have a pair on my Zen and they do the job pretty well.

@dbarma : Thanks for that ebay link. The new antenna sure looks better and neater than the stock one.

I have heard/read a few complaints regarding the same. There could be a simple fix for this. Need to look around. Let us know if you chance upon a solution.

Yea same here, I do from snapdeal and ebay only. Both works good just the delivery takes a week in my locality. Did you get the Jopasu duster? I took one in past and it works awesome. And yesterday ordered a Jopasu mini hand duster for interior also a Turtle wax, will see how it works.

With a reference of a Civic owner here in TAI, I found this: Rockstar Bucket Mats For Hyundai i20 / Verna Fluidic : CarLounz.com
This Civic owner brought this and he said its very worthful, also I see the price is very very less comparable to a 3D Floormat, its 2.3k here and I found same on ebay at 2.7k. So I’m not very confident buying this. My main concern is if this not came with the rear center part.

Also is it better to use 3D floor mat or complete floor lamination? I was thinking to do floor lamination like to cover the complete floor.

Projector throw looks bright and white in close range but in reality its yellowish. Visibility is actually better than halogen reflectors 60/55w and feels like 100/90w halogen. The only problem is side by side light throw is extremely poor, so taking U turn at hilly area is trouble some even with fog lights on. I am still waiting for the osram headlights to come .....

I hit the car hard today and took her to 120 km/h and feels like tires are under inflated and steering is stubborn, its sluggish.... doesnt boost confidence at all. Verna drive is pleasurable only in city ride or bellow 100km/h (IMO).

I will go for complete floor lamination then use rubber mat like the image bellow. Lamination is very useful and easy to clean otherwise the company fitted soft mat is hard to clean if it catch dust or mud and specially if you spill water on it.

The mat type in this photo bellow is available as per sq. feet ~70-80 bucks here so it can be easily cut according to your needs. One of my fren in using this for 2 years (durable) and still its in great shape. Dust, mud are collected in the flat rubber floor bellow so the mat always look fresh [:D]

until few k km do not rip the engine hard, try to keep it bellow 3k RPM and dont go above 100kmph. its good for the engine future.

I didnt see any floor mats like this one, really lack of stuff here in my locality. I was thinking to put leather looking type rexine materiel to cover the floor, which is almost waterproof, and dont mind to change it after a year. this wil be cost effective.

And beware about the stock floor carpet. it has foam insulation beneath it, mine dropped some water and even after month nothing dried. Also its hard to clean like you said, i have to use vacuum cleaner all time to clean it.

So i was looking for the 3D mat if it works like the floor lamination.

The Luminance of the projector is more than the stock reflectors that's why you feels its 100/90 [:)] And for side by side light throw it's better you install HIDs in your fog lamps for better visibility. Go for 4300K color temperature. I hope this will reduce your problem.

I have 3D mat in my alto k10 bought from ebay as well, it is ok but not brilliant. lamination is the best way to go then we can install any kind of floor mat.
