Does the new Verna top end come with LEDs in the projector headlamp housing as well as in the fog lamp housing (like in your car)? So you have two DRLs?
Fluidic verna top end doesn't come with DRL's but it does has LED's in projector headlamp housing which acts as parking light. The LED's you saw in the foglamp housing are actually DRL's which is an after market accessory.

If your first priority is safeguarding your car's bumper than go with a wrap but a transparent one. Which will protect your bumper and no issues with colour change.
I have seen a similar in 3M centre.
Yes Tornado! safeguarding the bumper is actually the priority.!
Am a fan of matte black too [:D]. and theres always this saying "beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder.!" I guess matte black does attact me [;)].

I understand you like the matt black color . But frankly the bumper with that color looks like a factory unpainted bumper. Next time you want to replace the bumpers, then don't paint it and fix it as it is. You will get default painted bumpers to be dirt cheap around 1800 INR. :)

Kenkits, its not a matter of being cheap or rich, its something i like, i just wanted an opinion and thanks for your opinion too. A few like it, most of em' dont like it. Thats about it. And yes if incase am changing my bumpers, i will definitely get it without painted, thanks for the heads up.! ( not for being DIRT cheap but for what i LIKE).

In the end no matter what, its gonna be what i like and how i like. [:)]

And Frankly speaking, i hate the Back Bumper being in Matte Black too.!!! [:D]. So back bumper is out of the question. It was just a brainstorming idea as to see how it would look. Am doing different types of sketches. Let me see what attracts me. [:D]

Hi there
if you want to give car some Matt treatment than do it on roof and it will look stunning. I have seen cars with that treatment. But problem with your car colour is that it is grey in colour I don't know how suitable black matt will look on roof of your grey car. As I have seen them in white and silver only.
Which I might be opting but after a year or two, when I'll start feeling bore with the looks.

How much fog lamps DRL cost you and from where you have procured them.
Any headlights and foglights upgrade done by you without voiding warranty. And the results of the same too? Kindly share price and warranty issues?

Yes Tornado, I was thinking of doing the roof too, the same thing with me too is the colour, i chose grey because i couldnt chose black, since my mom was saying something about black doesnt go well with the family.[frustration]. Thats why am trying to turn things black [;)].

Regarding fog lamps, i havent done any. I am yet to figure what type of bulb pair they are... I am thinking HB4. For now i have ordered Osram Cool Blue Intense BH3 pair @ 1520 for my headlamps. Its just plug and play. When i give it for first service, i will change my foglamps too, will have to see what exact model they are.

I was planning to go for Xenon upgarde, but looks like there might be some cutting, so i have put that on hold. By the way, there are no DRL's for the updated verna. They are just LEDS acting as parking light. They give the look of DRl though, not that bright but in a subtle way.

Hi Karma,

Just to clarify, what I was saying is the default bumper cost 1800 which is cheaper than painted bumper which costs more than 7K. In that perspective its cheaper than painted one when it meet the purpose you want. That's what I mean by "dirt cheap" by fitting the default color bumper(as it will cost way cheaper). Nothing to do with your like for the pattern. I hope you understood my intention.[:)]

Hi Dbarma! Thanks for the link, i did try a hell lot of websites but nothing was worth it. I have ordered this cool blue intense, will post the review once i get it.

Also did you install it by yourself, by unlocking the front hood and i found that there were no screws for the projector, just a cup where you rotate to get it unlocked types?. Is that how you fixed your Night breaker?

Q.Do you notice crisscrossing of the headlights?
A. Yes Dbarma, i do notice the criss cross, personally that what i feel gives more intensity for the light. So i guess its a common phenomenon in all of the projectore setup.!

Q.Do you hear a hissing sound/noise somewhere from the rear wheels when you start the engine?
A. Solution to what you said would be, open the front hood and start your car, you will get the hiss noise. Today i was checking for the headlight bulb as in how to change if i get a pair, thats when i noticed a hiss sound. Am pretty sure its not from the rear wheel. From my side, i would request you to start the car keeping the hood opened, its actually the engine thats making that kinda noice, but when the hood is closed it doesnt make any noise. Please do check that.

If still you feel that you are getting a sound from the rear, i better say you get it checked ASAP.!

Hope this helps!
just saw this. the hissing noise is normal. You will most likely notice it after starting the car after a long interval like say more then 1 hour its from the catalytic converter if i am right

Thanks nickandre for your brilliant support. I was thinking the same too but wanted to confirm if am right. Does your car do the same?

@karma0306 Your car colour does look good - dont be sad. I am not a fan of roof matting but I am planning to apply black mat at the front grill <=H=> with chrome border.

Hiss Noise - i do not get any actually! probably will concentrate more and see... Nick andre, i must say thats a good one.

@ Dbarma - Am not sad, infact am happy that i finally did the matte. Chrome finish for your white would be amazing too, my next project is actually doing chrome on the doors, as in the door outer. I actually thought of chrome for the front too, but just the chrome alone is costing about 7k, so i just backed off for now. May be slowly i would do the sides and then the front. Do post pics once your done with it!.
