@Harry
Thanks for the clarification.

Q. did u got them fixed 4rm hyudai guys or 4rm outside?
A. From hyundai guys.

Q. how easy was it...how much time it took in your case?
A. Let me give you some additional info on this. If you went through the very fast feed of this ownership review you might have noticed that I mentioned about a phantom black fluidic verna 1.6 SX which i drove before buying mine. Yes? right!! thats my friends car. Now come to our subject, I bought the foglamp with integrated DRL from naaptol long before my vehicle was delivered. Why i did that was becoz I wasn't aware of the headlamp upgrade with projectors and LEDs. Then when i saw the upgrades I thought I dont need it anymore and also I will save Rs. 9400/- so i soled it to him. He went to ASS (alone) and the guy took 1pm to 4pm (1:30 - 2:30 was their lunch hour). It was the first time in his carrier (the ASS guy) to install such accessory, so he was very careful. Then out of all this excitement he took the power source from the fog lamp -- WRONG!!! so to turn the DRL he has to turn the parking + fog lights on. Then my friend came straight to me with sad face. I knew that the installation was wrong so I called the ASS guy and told him what to do. Next day we went and fixed the issue. Then I told him to take the power from the ignition harness so that DRL will light on only when the engine is running. FIXED.

I actually loved this DRL so I ordered again and this time i had to pay only Rs. 9200/- In my case it took around an hour becoz my car is equipped with push start button which is different from key start ignition harness. In my installation I also integrated with an illuminated switch to ON/OFF the DRL manually.

Q. lastly is it better than i20 in case of brightness?
A. No. This DRL is very gentle but at the same time markedly visible at bright day light. At night I suggest to turn it off. Cars will poorly cleaned windshield will have much reflections and might confuse them.

I hope am clear to you now. If you need more info then let me know.

Dev

Yes Kenkits! Personally thats the only reason am gonna go for the consumer court!. They just took me for granted! [anger]

I did think of SX first, but then again somehow my mind told me to get the SX(O). I do like the car as a whole! From what they offered before in the car and to now what they offer seems a bit bad, with so much safety being forfeited.! Lets hope for the best.! Lets see how my case would go against them![;)]
Yes do a case, you/we should do it. Its really not happening for the worth of that money and false statement to customers. Those people brought SX(O) they really got less. And yes Speed sensing door lock should be a basic features.

Have you guys checkout the impact sensing door unlock is still there? I doubt that. But how to test that?

Sure. As of now, my wife is the speed sensing door lock warning chime. She reminds me every time to lock the door when car moves. I got this facility free as a package with marriage[lol]
LOL.. I’m myself a speed sensing door locker, when I sense speed I lock it , as I’m driving the car by myself all time.

and surprisingly hyundai didnt reply my inquiry (2 of them). This is cheating. Now I am concerned about other features too, if its really there or not? As Soumen has mentioned about impact sensing door unlock (ISDU) - very doubtful. I am going to register a case too.

@Kentkits you have got an add-on package [lol]. My girl hasn't ridden the car yet. She stays at delhi, coming on Jan 10th and wedding on 8th Feb [angel]. She is careful about the car and most of the time she inquires about it whether am taking her out or not, if I wash or not etc etc. Seems like my package is also pakka.

Kentkits got a security feature add-on and dbarma got a 4M car care add-on package [clap]. Yea I suppose to get a add-on package this year or soon, the process is under conversation. God knows like Hyundai if many features removed by saying its an upgrade!!!! Enjoy!!!! [confused]

BTW how would you put a case file?

Hahaha.... and they know shopping websites also [lol]
Come to the point: How to correctly apply rubbing compound?
Yea I know, to shorten my comment I removed those, But I typed those while replying, thought if moderators complains etc.

On a brand new car I will not recommend rubbing compound except big scratches. Rubbing compound will haze the area with lots of swirl marks, the compound has tiny sandy like particles. If you have scratches using normal polishes is the safest way, however it may take several applications and may take long time but its safest. Application method is same for polish and rubbing compound, circular motion.

A case file, i would definitely let you know soumen.sam. For now i am trying to gather the info given by the sales person, the pamphlets and stuff to file a consumer court case. I myself do not know the procedure but am pretty sure i will be filing one next week.
I do have a secret weapon against the dealer which i will unleash when its needed and when the case goes to the consumer court. [;)] Will definitely let you guys know.

Also guys what do you think about
Osram Cool Blue Intense 9005CBI HB3 12V 60W Twin Pack of Headlight Bulbs: Amazon.co.uk: Car & Motorbike

I am looking for a tint of white(not pure yellow) since i personally feel it would go well along with the LED in the projector setup. Any light shed by you guys would be really helpful.

I was browsing for a lot of things, its very bad that we cannot find anything properly here in any website, no one ever gives any piece of correct info. Was looking into Philips Diamond and Crystal vision ultra, Osram Night breaker unlimited, could not find a single place where they sell it online too.[frustration]

Any info on any webiste that sells these products here would be much appreciated.

@Dbarma - how do you find the Osram Night breaker PLus? are they helpful. Let us know.

The below pic is with the default company fitted bulbs.! It appears to be white in this photo because of the white led strip. Basically its pure yellow type.

You can get Osram Cool Blue Intense @ Rs. 1470 /- on ebay.in link

I bought OSRAM NIGHT BREAKER PLUS from ebay.in too @ Rs. 1750 /-

Q. @Dbarma - how do you find the Osram Night breaker PLus?
A. I find it ok. Light throw is good and definitely stand out from others. The bulb has to distinctive blue rings at the top and bottom, the shaft is transparent. Colour is slightly towards the blue side if you compare it with standard halogen bulb and its definitely better than the stock bulb. I am happy with the result. But nothing beats the xenon.

Click this link for a comparison between stock and night breaker plus

Karma can you please check the following:
Did you notice that the headlight beams are crisscrossing each other at the distance of ~ 20 ft?
Do you hear a hissing sound/noise somewhere from the rear wheels when you start the engine?

Hi Dbarma! Thanks for the link, i did try a hell lot of websites but nothing was worth it. I have ordered this cool blue intense, will post the review once i get it.

Also did you install it by yourself, by unlocking the front hood and i found that there were no screws for the projector, just a cup where you rotate to get it unlocked types?. Is that how you fixed your Night breaker?

Q.Do you notice crisscrossing of the headlights?
A. Yes Dbarma, i do notice the criss cross, personally that what i feel gives more intensity for the light. So i guess its a common phenomenon in all of the projectore setup.!

Q.Do you hear a hissing sound/noise somewhere from the rear wheels when you start the engine?
A. Solution to what you said would be, open the front hood and start your car, you will get the hiss noise. Today i was checking for the headlight bulb as in how to change if i get a pair, thats when i noticed a hiss sound. Am pretty sure its not from the rear wheel. From my side, i would request you to start the car keeping the hood opened, its actually the engine thats making that kinda noice, but when the hood is closed it doesnt make any noise. Please do check that.

If still you feel that you are getting a sound from the rear, i better say you get it checked ASAP.!

Hope this helps!

THose distinctive blue rings are because of the projectors. You would see that with normal halogens as well.

Anyways, I heard that white/blue light is not good in rains, so would really like to know what you experience. If that's not a problem i'll definitely change the stock bulbs.
