Verna had issues with her suspension and it's been criticised through out. IMO any vehicle cruising in moderately high speed will create some noise specially our verna the suspensions are tuned softly for better ride quality in highway. Every vehicle have their plus and down sides, one more thing I want to share is that verna is a quiet car, cabin is very silent and sitting inside one can not guess how fast it's cruising. Iv migrated from small car like k10 where 40kmpl is actually fast enough but big cars like verna 40kmpl is nothing but the vehicle has to slow down in a pothole as uv mentioned. I got such noise few times even at 30kmpl. So now I slow down.

What bothers me much is the wobbling movement. My mom, sisters always complaints about it and most of time they get sickly nauseatic sensation. THIS IS AN ISSUE.

One more thing I want to share: iv installed sony xplode amp & subwoofer, when rich songs are played some body parts create krrr krrr noise specially the rear plastics, somewhere near rear passenger head rest.

@karma : are you happy with the yellow projector light? Today I ordered Philips HID HB3 9005 6000K conversion kit.

Definitely Dbarma! My mom also says the same thing, she gets this nauseatic sensation too.! Since am always the driver, i never get to sit in the back seat at any instance all along till now.! Probably i would be twice nauseated than everyone! [lol]

Frankly speaking, i am not happy with the yellow projector light! It isnt bright enough!. Could you please share the link from where you have ordered your HID! Are you going for pure white light? 6000k is white i guess and isnt it pretty low light!. I have just started my research! Correct me if am wrong!

Also please do post pics of your amp and subwoofer? did u cut any wiring? If so i guess our warranty would be voided right?

Also please do post pics of your new HID and give us the feedback!

@dbarma: Soft suspensions are for city driving at slower speeds. The coupled torsion system and the soft suspension is bad for high speed driving on the highway. Honda city had stiffer rear suspensions and proves more stable at speed.
I have heard/read about that rear passenger's nauseating feeling on long drives at high speeds. I thought that problem was fixed in the newer model.
For the "krr krr" sound, try adding some extra damping. Not sure about it but that might help.
As karma0306 said, please post complete details of your amp and sub-woofer and link for your HIDs.

@karma0306:Verna lights were never strong enough. Even a Tata Ace has more powerful lights. The projector setup is just to focus the light in a straight path. It doesn't amplify the light intensity, unless one is looking at it head-on.
Get an HID kit like dbarma. 4300k for visibility and 6000k for style+visibility.
Verna music system lacks an output signal point. I think only Sony xplod amp has provisions to make up for that without cutting any wires.

Took another TD yesterday. Car had 10km on the Odo. This time there were 3 people in the rear seat and 2 in front(including me). I took to around 130+, but didnt stay there for long. No one complained of any unusual feeling sitting in the rear seats. The company driver who accompanied me said he had taken it to 160kmph and the drive felt better than the previous models.
Good: pick-up(honda city is better here), very low noise inside the cabin.
Not-so-good: Steering was a bit awkward. Braking could have been better(ABS is acting too much). There were sharp sounds which I guess is due to small sharp bumps on the road, even
though I couldnt see anything.
Bad: Nothing as of now.

Just a quick question to you dbarma! Did you just order the bulbs as we have the projector setup installed already in our verna! Any help or advise is much appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

Myth! A quick question? Have u booked or do you own a verna? If you have? What model do u own? SX or SX (O). What about your speed sensing auto door lock if you have SX (O) model! Just wanted to gather some piece of information about this! Thanks in advance!

Dear TAI,
Today i took her for the very first servicing. ODO reads: 1263KM
Took her at 9:40am (ASS opens @ 9:30am) and all done @ 12am.

They asked me if there is any unusual with the car? I replied none but the wobbling movement at rear. I also asked them if its possible to stiffen the rear suspension but they said can't.

Heres what they have done:
1. Full body wash (body, under body, engine, cabin),
2. Vacuum cleaning,
3. They'v added few mls of H2O in the coolent compartment,
4. Tighten few volts (underneath the body & suspensions) when they lifted the car,
5. And also some other tech. stuffs under the hood.

Free of cost + 30 bucks as they'v added window washer solution. I brought 4 extra of these.

Some pictures here ..............

Note: On the Christmas evening the car got hit (Dhang....) by a sewage lid (iron) 1 and half feet radius bulging right on the middle of the road which is just enough for my car to pass by on a slop. I had 4 in the rear seat (2 persons with extra heavy weight) and 2 front including me = 6. Actually its my fault, I should have taken precautions by asking them to get down. Then I took the obstacle right on the middle of the car and DHAAAAANG........... [sad] At home I went down as much I can but couldnt see anything but just a small dent. Thats why they have lifted the car for inspection. Those are the protective metal ridges which took the punch. Huh...

Exactly Karma, same case with me too but a week back i had a privilege to enjoy the ride at rear seat for around 70-80km on a bumpy + good road when my Jijo was driving and I had no issues as such.

6000K is pure white with slight blue tint on it. According to my research I have found out that halogen and xenon has a little bit of differences when it comes to kelvin reading. Halogen 4300K is pure white but Xenon 4300K will have slight yellow tint. Halogen 4300K = Xenon 5000K. I was searching for 5000K but didnt get anywhere online. (Correct me here if am wrong)

Damping?? Sorry i didnt understand.
HID is yet to be shipped, just ordered yesterday yaar... I will surely post photos once I install it. Sony amp. and subwoofer photo tomorrow.

Verna music system lacks an output signal point. I think only Sony xplod amp has provisions to make up for that without cutting any wires.
Yes you are right, the player does not have sub out but Sony amp has a solution for it. Bad news: rear speaker wires needs to be cut so that amp can receive the R/L channels for low and high pass signals. Then the rear speakers will receive signals from the amp. Again you have to open the player and cut (i didnt let them cut but to pill off and connect it) the REM wire (blue one) which will be connected to the amp REM. SOUND IS AWESOME This is the player setting:
P.Bass = Mid. Bass;
------------------------
Bass: +2, (Just to feed the inbuilt speakers, subwoofer is strong even @ -10) Mid: -8, Trib: +9, Fed: +4 (depends on the amp signal strength), Bal: 0 and enjoy the dhik..chik..dhik..chik..

Bulbs + relay, though these bulbs are rated 35 wattage still they need relay. I also heard that the plastic protective cap has to be cut off (hole to fit certain parts) to install the HID's. But lets see how it goes as I ordered the conversion kit for the same bulb type i.e. HB3 9005 type.
I also read some issues with installing xenon in halogen projector setup, like hot spots, light throw etc etc as the light source is different in these 2 bulbs buuuuut HB3 9005 type xenon has the similar light source (as what they say). Karma dont you think of buying it now, let me try it first then i will let you know. For now just wait.

Very Sorry to hear about the dent Dbarma!

Yesterday i went and enquired about the HID, this was what i was told, they have XENON HID lights, the bulbs would be H 7, H 11 and something called a blaster( not sure what they meant) - the price is about 5k each it seems. To be frank i actually got confused. Then he was telling me i would be needing 4 of them if i want for low beam and high beam. Yes Dbarma, for now i am just bitting my teeth and doing the research on HID. The lighting is really poor from the car.

@Soumen.Sam : The factory stock does not come with the DRL's in the fog lamp. Not sure whether you are asking about what Dbarma ordered?. Just a piece of info.

Our bulb is of HB3 9005 type. Dont go for other than this bulb. And why 4 bulbs????? You need only 2 bulbs. 9005 bulbs are of single filament means single beam. Our projectors is actually bi-focal, which means it can produce both high and low beams. Check this link http://forum.lowyat.net/uploads/attach-7/post-193407-1238220933_thumb.jpg
Actually the stock lights are not that poor, definitely better than reflectors. Its sharp and crisps. But i need more.....

Yes its not factory fitted, its a aftermarket one. Dbarma putting these silently without letting us know [anger] [lol]
SURPRIZZZZEE.......
I wont open my mouth until i get a treat .....[:D]
