I finally got my Elite i20 Asta 1.2 Petrol car on 5th June after a wait of 2 months.
Hyundai has removed the second power outlet. Ticket holder is still there.
I had done 3M underbody rust coating, Teflon Coating and Vnyl Flooring.

I am getting a bad odour when the AC is switched on. It is very irritating and I have tried to minimize it by switching on the blower at full speed for few minutes but the odour still exists.

Condenser may be dirty.
Take it to the ASS.

My sincere advice to users running in A/C (Especially in monsoon period).

1. Before reaching the destination( Before switching off, switch off the A/c and run only fan in high speed for say 5 min.
2.Use Fresh air mode at places where you feel air is pure( Starting of the journeys from streets)
3.In flooded areas switch off AC,use only fan.

I have completed 400 Kms on my New Elite i20 Asta 1.2. Consumed 30Ltrs of Petrol. FE - 13.74.
My initial driving was very cautious and mostly in city traffic. Hope the FE will improve after the 1st service. There is a lag in pickup when we slow the car, forced to down the gear to 2nd and proceed. Thinks that it may be normal and Hyundai made it like that only.

FE is not going to increase and that is the best you can get in traffic! And regarding pickup, yes you need to downshift to move but I guess that is normal in any petrol car!

Don't worry Mr.Rajekm

My friend's grand i 10 petrol also had low pick up issue till first service, but it improved after 1 st service. It may be due to the engine setting up time.

Regarding mileage you can expect 14kmpl after 1 st service.( Normal city conditions)

Vishnu, read his post again!

It is not initial pick up he talks about. After slowing down in gear greater than 2nd, which is I guess normal.

Mr.Furious Driver
I think what i told was correct regarding mentioning Grand i 10- is that what you meant
Grand i 10 also has 1.2 L engine,i think i am correct,am i?
I know both Grand siblings and i20 have same petrol engine. But the problem @RajEkm mentioned was not the initial pick up. Once you slow down for speed breaker or any obstacle, and then proceed at the same gear, which means 3rd gear in 15-25km/h. That is why I said, it is normal, especially for this petrol engine. I never able to move my car at low speeds @ 3rd gear, whereas I can do that in most of diesel car.

@RajEkm
Please elaborate your problem if what I explained above is not what you are facing!

Hyundai Elite i20 to Come Equipped with Touchscreen Infotainment System from July

Hyundai Elite i20, which has been on the Indian roads for quite some time, will be getting factory-fitted touchscreen infotainment system.

The new feature will also come with satellite navigation. It would be interesting to note that the soon-to-be-launched Honda Jazz, the Elite i20 rival is also expected to come equipped with the same features.

If that's true, then it will increase the snob value for this car! The only gripe for almost all customers I have met was the teeny tiny audio system interface. With this, it can give it a much needed difference between Grand sbilings interface and Elite i20!
