Absolutely Yes!![:)]
It helps a great deal in removing the daily dust which gets accumulated on the car and will not scratch the paint..and using it is easy too.
But take care not to use it when the car is wet.
Hi, I had bought this Duster and is very very helpful. But one Question , now it has became quite dirty / black in color, please advise If it can be washed ??? Has any one Washed it before ?

Yes, jopasu duster can be washed.

You need to wash it in cold water and let it dry in shade. You can use mild detergent, however I advice not to use any detergent, it may remove wax from duster.

Most of the reviews on Jopsau duster says that the power to cleaning dust is reduced once you wash it. Looking at its cost and effectiveness it is advisable to get a new one if possible.
But as of now you can wash with mild liquid detergent cold water and dry it in shade and try if it is performing as earlier.

Guys,
I know it may be a repeated question, but please bear with me and help me.

I have cleaned my swift (3M Teflon Protected)- With The orange cloth from Petrol Bunks for last 4 months, though there are no swirl Marks till now(I have gently used the cloth) and also i use Armoral Wax monthly once and do the detailing .

Now after reading so many threads i came to know that Swirl marks are caused by using such kind of cloth( Is it so?).
Now onwards i am going to use only Microfibre towels rather than this kind of cloth.

Also my friend's car has lots of swirls - Does teflon coating remove this effect.

Hi,

Those swirls are caused by running any cloth over a dry dusty car. Basically, dust contains fine very hard particles that rub into the paint when you mop dry. You have two options to avoid this- either dust the surface with a cloth by beating the cloth against it gently (dhool ko jhatak do, if you know what i mean) or use one of those static mops to gently pick up most of the surface dust.
If you wash the car, the water produces sufficient lubrication to prevent the swirls.

Teflon helps but you will see the marks eventually. Think of teflon as a clear paint that prevents any scratches from damaging the actual paint

GreyCruze,

microfiber cloths are available in various grades. At first my mom picked up some no-name ones from the market that she otherwise uses for her household work (at Rs 80/kg). They were positively hopeless. I usually wash the car once a week myself (when the washer guy doesnt come on Sunday and I use the pressure washer to clean hard to reach areas) and I used that cloth only once. It just didnt have the capacity to absorb and hold any water and didnt pickup any of the dirt. Then I used a 3M cloth I had obtained (but didnt want to use for the exteriors) and it worked like a charm. You need to use it to understand the difference. Its a bit expensive (about Rs 200 each) but worth it. I subsequently got 5 nos to give the washer guy on daily basis in rotation and to keep atleast one inside for any work my driver needs and after some initial reluctance to use it, they too is really impressed by it

Just to add little more light to this, microfiber towels and wash mitts were one of the most misused car care product these days and also lots of customers are getting cheated by many vendors.
Microfiber towels are made of a blend of polyamide and polyester which is termed as blend ratio (normally this ranges from 70/30 to 80/20 - 80% Polyester and 20 % Polyiamide) and weight ( in terms of gsm - grams per square meter).
Microfiber Towels | GreenZ Car Care India - Car Care Guide Series – Car Care Products | Car Detailing Products - GreenZ Car Care
Most of these cheap towels don't contain any polyamide in it, they use Nylon instead, and they are not as safe as Polyamide to car paints.
BTW, seen some cool discounts for the microfiber towels here: Sale Items – Car Care Products | Car Detailing Products - GreenZ Car Care

Well i am really lucky in this case. I used to wash my car on my own earlier. Have ordered "ABRO - Microfiber Towel and ABRO Clean and Shine Shampoo from Snapdeal. But it was very tedious and time consuming.
Luckily there was new car clean shop opened in Borivali just few kms away from my home and it was a fab. They use genuine 3M Body Shampoo for cleaning the car
1. Body Wash
2. Interior vacuuming
3. Interior Polish
4. Tyre Shine

Just for 200 Rs. Please dont ask me how???[:D]

@nk4u,

If you are washing the car yourself everyday and with hand tools, we salute you.[cheers]

No way I can wash it like that, especially with the daily fight over water. I use the pressure washer I bought from ebay and only once a week- on Sunday when the cleaning guy doesnt come. That pressure washer is good. It used 1 bucket of water, about the same as the cleaning guy, and connects to the car's 12V accessories socket. I add in a few drops of 3M shampoo. The foaming in that shampoo is very aggressive as you can see in your own picture, so I dont add as per the recommendation, just add a little bit and it cleans well

Now-a-days, I've become too lazy to clean the car myself, I either take it to the wash center spending 250 bucks or let it run with dirty body itself!

Last week I'd been to kerala and had the car full of dirt due to rains, so took it to an automated car washer near my home and ended up paying 400 bucks for which the interiors cleaning was on PAR , but exterior cleaning was neat with underbody wash too.

Guys whats the best option between a Jopasu dry duster or using a microfibre wet cloth for cleaning car and glass. I have always heard best to use wet microfire to clean. however the jopasu since can be used will be faster and easier but is it better ? Should i just buy a 3m microfibre and always wet clean. Have ordered waxpol and 3m shampoo as well to maintain my ride.
