Thanks for the confirmation.

Let me buy these two things as of now.. Motomax shampoo and turtle hard wax.
After washing with shampoo and before doing the waxing by my own hand. Do I need to apply something else also, like cleaning compound also, as body have minor scratches.

These are some tips i used while cleaning my car like;
1. Use Compressed Air and Stiff Scrub Brushes on Your Carpets - This can be helpful in removing duct of your car's floor.
2. Use Non-Acid-Based Tire Cleaners - Perfect solutions to clean dirty tires
3. Huse the sponge and soapy water to wipe down your car from top to bottom
4. Protect Paint with Wax and do Wax Every Season
5. Clean your wheels with the wheel cleaner

I pay 400 Rs to a local car washer a month. Saturday & Sunday Holiday for him.
He uses the cloth which sellers on signal sell. He does not use any soap, only water.
6 - 7 months back, i took it to 3M as paint had lost its glory, they made it shiny, its still shiny.
I have Turtle Wax box, which is just lying at home, untouched. I think it will decompose before i get a chance to apply it.

What are the products that can be used to make the tyre and alloy look as new as it were at the time of delivery
Need quick reply
Tyre Polish or you can use Tyre Shine Spray for Tyre(s) to look new and clean. For alloys, clean them with moist cloth after every 2 days that is all.

Fellow TAI-gers, reading all your endeavours to make your cars shine makes me want to hide in a corner[cry]. I think I'm eligible for the worst procrastinator in all of automotive history!
What I do:
1) Remove dust as much as possible when dry.
2) Dripping-wet cloth wipe
3) Dry cloth wipe for metal and newspaper for glass.
4) Separate cloth for rims. A dirty one for initial grime removal and another one for post-washing.
That's all I do. No microfibers, no wax, no tyre shiners, paint protection or anything for that matter because no matter what I do, the clean shine lasts for a maximum of three or four hours. My area is that dusty[frustration]
For bike rims, I apply a film of oil if I'm not going to have to show it off to people anytime soon.

Guys, how to clean off the tar on alloys. I have a lot of tar marks and i tried pressure washing with car shampoo but it doesn't seem to help much. I dont know if wd40 is good for the alloys and in any case, its not going to make too much sense to sit next to the wheel and spray it on the open road

Get yourself a Jopasu duster bro. It makes dust removal damn easy and you won't regret the purchase.

Try petrol, I never knew about this until I discovered that my chauffy has got rid of every single tar spot on the car.
Petrol very easily removes the tar and alloys won't get any kind of damage too like it des to paint. In case of my car, I had t get it covered with wax again as petrol had killed all the wax in any area where it was used. Diesel can also remove tar spots but it will be a bit harder while petrol does it like a walk in park.

Well my chauffy never take so much pain in cleaning the car.
Within 15-20 minuted the car starts gleaming again.

Vipul, did your chauffeur take up "clean it easily" classes or anything? He seems to know exactly what to do to make a car look new without actually toiling much for that.

Waste of money. This pressure does not have enough power.
It works. I have one I bought back in Diwali. The one before that lasted a year and half
Thing is, you must learn to use the nozzle and its position. With the nozzle screwed all the way in, the thing will produce a soft spray thats well spread. But as you turn the nozzle out, the spray will get sharper and sharper. Sharp enough to sting your hand and produce a loud pattering on the sheet metal. Also, you must use it with the engine running
The way I use is to first use the sharp setting to get water onto the car from the roof downward, then a medium setting for specific areas such as bird droppings. I use the sharp setting on the wheel fairings and liner, then a soft setting for the alloy. Then I again use a sharp setting for the radiator grille and radiator area that I can see from infront. Finally, i clean the car top downward with a microfibre cloth. I use a light shampoo solution for washing. Its sufficiently convenient that many of my friends also bought similar stuff and wash their cars once a week or two thatway

@Vipul,

thats the issue- with petrol, the clearcote on the wheels and the body work will go. There must be another way
