How About Another Independence Day Meet?

Yes sir, even I thought about the same too. But the problem is, we couldn't see any active participation in the thread by many members. Hence, thought of giving a Plan B option to see the response. However, nothing is decided and will be based on majority. I can see only about 5 - 6 members are actively participating in the thread and in which, 2 - 3 aren't sure about participating in the meet at this point in time.

I am watching this thread regularly, and I hope there might be some like me. The reason I am not participating is, I don't want to add more confusion.

I am okay for any destination within 300 to 400 KM from Chennai.

And as Ram suggested, it will be good to take the family, since we have committed to them already.

Who wants to come with family and who wants to come as bachelor (Either not married or leaving your better half/children at home)

If families are less, then we family people can think of meeting somewhere else ;)
If bachelors are less, better luck next time ?

What ever it is , lets discuss in open than thinking of "may feel bad to other". Unless you raise the opinion, how will others take a decision ?
(i was waiting for all these days. since nothing was coming out, i came out in open :D)

My tentative chances (If and only if):-

It is for members including families (No problem even if bachelors come for the meet)
If there is more than 2-3 families (She should not feel uncomfortable)
The place is worth the visit.
The road condition is really good
No smoking by disturbing others.
Do not mind others drinking as long as they are under control.

(I/we do not drink/smoke & allergic to smoke)

I am fine with either option. If with Family, I can do it as 2 days meet, else just one day.

PS: I am tentatively confirmed as of now as I am not sure about the wedding date which I need to attend in Kerala. Hoping, it wont clash and wash out my plans.

I am not yet confirmed yet and would be doing this after 15-20th of this month (after finalizing the place/date etc)

Nothing about Single or Family, all are welcome. No hard & fast rules guys, it's just our meet. The only point to be noted is, we all should feel comfortable and make others to feel the same too. That's it.

Whether married or single, with family or bachelor it doesn't matter in any way. End of the meet we all should feel that we had a great time together. So, my request to all members to try their best to bring their families, and singles should not get upset on this, they should take it on the right spirit and make sure their participation. Perhaps, this is an opportunity for every one of us to mingle with each other.
I feel let's find an opportunity from a problem (if anyone feels) than finding a problem from an opportunity.
