How About Another Independence Day Meet?

Sorry friends, my previous post had created lot of confusions and especially for Sethu !!

I was just trying to point out as the venue selected (HH) not so worth for a family outing and was suggesting to see if you can change the venue which will be more interesting for families and kids around. For singles any place is the same no worries.

Hope now things are moving in right direction and a refreshed venue and dates will get finalised very soon

@RK sir. Not at all. There is a proverb in Tamil "When the water is stirred well we can get lot of fishes" like that you have stirred it hope we will get better place / date.

Dont worry sir. All in the game. You have said that just to make sure everyone to have good time in the meet.

My only worry is it should be comfortable for everyone in all aspects [Time/Budget/Place/distance/duration/Affordability/Entertainment/etc etc]

I think the one night and 2 days option is good and it needs less preparation in terms of room booking and other arrangements compared to 2 nights stay.

@Appu, do we have any stay option in Jawadhu Hills. I just quickly browsed through the blog which you added and checked the photos, but didn't get a chance to read fully. And it looks like a nice place to hang out.

I can confirm my paticipation 95% if it is a single day, and 60% if it is one night and two days stay. I am ok with any destinations and will drive alone.

Sorry for the starting point to create all this confusions. I don't have any location preference and love to see some family members of TAI team.

Few responses from new members are really a good sign. We don't need to worry about strength right now as we still have more days to come. I guess, (guessing.!) if it is a single day many will participate.

If it is single's meet, the distance is not a concern & 1 day trip also can be thought of.
If it is with family, it should be more than 1 day. May be 1 night/2 days ask Skay said.
Ram Sir, 2 + nights would be difficult for many including me . Munnar needs at least 3-4 days right? Will plan next year :D

1 day -> 230 km from bangalore -> 450 km total would be too much other than driving. You will be spending time with family members in car than at location :D
It may be tiring too.

You have lots of place near Mysore/Coorg. But the distance would be too much for guys coming from other states.

Even Myself also not been there so far. I'll check with my friends & let you know guys.

what I feel is, if it is one day, We can fix HH or Yelagiri. Because, it is center to both B'lore & Chennai team. so that we can reduce the travel hours & increase the meeting hours.

If it is a family meet I still feel if the heat is under control, then a place like mahabalipuram will give a great time for families, kids and singles too. only thing will be bangalore guys have to travel a little more distance

I'm in Maharashtra. eagerly would like to join. But Each journey of 1000-1200KM shall rob me dry of energy to enjoy anything there
