Well looks are always subjective. Many people can not digest the looks of Beat but go ga-ga over i10. However for me its the reverse. But I respect the fact not all prefer the look of Beat.

Brio for me is the most good looking among Figo, Ritz, i10, Liva & Beat. It has racy lines and sharp cuts. Except boot space, I think Beat has many things going for it: specially the awesome 90HP i-vTech engine.

If Jazz pricing is an indication, then competitors should pull up their shocks up, and fast.

After revised prices of City and Jazz, i am pretty sure that thins baby from Honda stable would be priced aptly. As for looks, i am still not able to gulp down the odd looking rear.

Right. Speaking about looks is certainly a subjective and debatable matter but I also find the Brio’s rear-end not so very inviting. Let me hold further comments before taking a close look in person. Honda usually makes cars which are always ahead of the era (in terms of design) but I’m not surprised with design of a budget car like Brio. After all, when Toyota and Nissan can roll out products like Liva and Micra then why not Honda?

just saw cnbc tv test driving honda brio and guys its not at all looking such weird in flesh. It has the same motor as in jazz but in 68bhp as compared to 90 of jazz. Its mid variants gets all the features of abs, airbags like jazz and would be in the price range of 4.9L to 6L.
Heard the driver saying quite peppy mill to drive, easy on ghats as well. Not much pressure on the mill while climbing the ghats. So would be a good car as well.

Interiors were okay, not that great like jazz but well acceptable.

No buddy, NDTV has done a blunder- no doubt about that. And I seriously doubt whether such (68 PS) engine exist at all or not.

By the way, Hormazd Sorabjee has just tweeted that Brio is the best small hatch to drive due to its engine & handling.

Brio will surely give i10 a run for the money.

@Nuvo - you are correct. It's 86HP, which will surely make it a hot hatch. Now what remains to be seen is the price points. Also, car looks off from rear!
