i dont think my BRIO has ABS with EBD... is it possible to add it?? if yes any idea of the costs??
It's not possible. Don't listen to anyone who says they can "add it" because they will be selling magic snake oil to you.

Solution: Use your non-ABS Brio -- and drive safe -- for some years, and then upgrade to an ABS-fitted vehicle. If you really are desperate for ABS and can comfortably spend $$$, upgrade immediately.

@ roadrunner, thank you for your advice. really appreciate it. for now will use my present car; lets see in future if I feel the need for ABS I will look for a car with ABS.. :)

Also there are a few scratches on the car on the bumpers. Would you suggest getting it repaired at Honda or 3M?? or any other place??

Just put a scredriver(thin one) and you can lift that part.
My A/C switch had a problem in initial days of ownership and then I saw them doing it.

seems like a good idea.
however it's also an option to buy aftermarket dampmat /sound insulation and design one from it.

just compare Maruti and aftermarket prices.

hey all..!

I have a new doubt; is it possible to add Airbags to my Brio (SMT)? I would like to get it done at HASS itself but is it possible? If so any idea about the costs?

Hello members,
I think Airbags can be fitted, the dash has to be changed as well. It will be expensive but I don't see why it couldn't be done.
As for ABS, sure it is a very good feature but it is a secondary assist. You shouldn't rely completely on ABS.

@NH08
That is a useful device to have. I saw this one at a shop priced at 2.6k.
As you mentioned about the pressure gauge, when you get something for cheap online, you may have such issues. That is putting me off from ordering it online.

No. Airbags cannot be retrofitted. Not only the dash, there are many other things like steering wheel, sensors, ecu updates etc needs to be done which cannot be done in aftermarket.

Honda brio side view mirror broke

I own a Honda brio at. The left side view mirror broke today. The electrically adjustable orvm is still working. I could change the position using the controls. The plastic part which holds the mirror got broke. Can I get this part alone in shops near Medavakkam, chennai ? Any idea on the pricing ? I feel the Honda service might cost more and wanted to replace it at a local service centre. Please help.

As you are from Medavakkam, you can contact RJKM car care in Camp road(opposite to Bharat Engineering college). Visit Mr.Rajan. He can help you out. He sourced the cover for my city's RHS mirror.
