Okey Sir. Uploding them once again.

read it on your status update on Facebook about the flat. Was it a small one or big? Hope you dint drive to much with the flat tire, these stocks ones go quicker then the others when this happens.

So it was like every other day. Parked the car out side my office and noticed the rear left tyre's pressure to be less than usual. Just checked with hand and removed few stones from the grooves. One thing was not comming out. So poured some water on that and saw bubbles and heared some noices.

Opened the sealed wheel spanner and all from the kit provided and the jack too. Removed the wheel out. And yes it was the culprit. Tried to remove it but could not. The mechanics next to my office were sitting idle (you know the current market conditions!) They came and we started our mission to remove that f***** thing out from that. We three of them tried for some fifteen minutes and then that thing started to atleast come out. So made my Tubeless Punture repair kit ready and removed that culprit.[glasses]

To everyone's surprice; that was not a nail; but a nail like metal thing of nearly two inches long.[frustration] Some welding part like thing. Kept that thing aside and thought to click the pic later. Compleated the punture thing. Fitted back the tyre and drove the car with flat tyre to the pump near by (less than a km away) and get the air filled.

Came back to find that f***** thing but Dad threw that thing away. I told that I wanted to click a pic and he told ARE YOU MAD?[lol]

Re: Got Wet in the Rain of Fluidics!!!

Today noticed that the driver side indicator on the ORVM was not working. Tapped the ORVM with hand and it started blinking. Again tapped it; it stopped working. So kept on tapping till the time I find it working. After some time while returning from office; noticed that it again stopped working. Made it wake up again by tapping.
Seems like some loose connection. Can any one guide me how can this issue be looked our? Any DIY's can be done or directly to the Service Center? I dont feel like going there and spending hours there.

don't do anything yourself , take it to the service center. it won't take hours [:D]
they will just remove the cover and all the wires should be visible.

like i said before just make good connections with the adviser. whenever i visit the service center the adviser immediately calls someone to fix anything which is causing trouble.

Agreed buddy; but recently when I went to Modi to enquire about the extended warranty; I was surprised to see the number of cars. They are growing at a fast phase I must say comparing to the earlier visits. I think if they are having that kind of crowd; then they will make me wait hours I guess.

here you go, but be careful, lots and lots of delicate plastic mounts in there.

Thanks a lot for procedure Sirji. Feeling scared to do this; but will give it a try. The trick part is to remove the mirror safely with out breaking any clips.[glasses] Will update soon.

Thanks for the warning bro.
Well the actual fe is same around 13kmpl.(overall) Though the MID shows something else.
Today saw the odo crossing 3700kms.[:D]

Re: Got Wet in the Rain of Fluidics!!!

man that odo is on fire. This fe is on the normal route to vashi right?
Yup.[glasses] Tomorrow might be crossing 3800kms mark.

Well it can be said that the Fe is in the Sion Vashi route. While going to Viashi I take the Via Mankhurd route and while returning Via Chembur. In the evening the is a little bit traffic. Some times have to go to Chembur Camp where there is traffic 365days; so this reduces the fe drastically. Also have to stop at places to collect payments and meet clients; so I guess this might also be a reason affecting the Fe. Also some times the car goes to Opera House in the morning; so while going the route is jam or the traffic is slow moving. So in short you can say that the Fe of 13kmpl which I am getting is an average of both city and highways.

I bet the car will give 15+ easily on interstate trips. Because as soon as I fill my tank from Kalamboli; and go towards panvel and while returning; the fe on the MID reaches between 17-18kmpl. So I guess the MID shows 1-1.5 kms more than the actual Fe.

Re: Got Wet in the Rain of Fluidics!!!

i haven't seemed to understand the thing about the mid as yet. I fill up on palm beach bpcl. When i drive either to vashi or my place it skyrockets up to 16/17 but then when i come to the croma signal it crashes down to 9km/l finally settles out at 12 or something. But after filling the tank it changes fast either goes up or down but after some km it stays at one point and takes time to go up or fall.
