We too were supposed to take the car straight away to the Gurudwara; but while returning from the showroom; dad had some work so he went there after taking the delivery and told us (Me, Mom. Bro, Tayaji) to reach Gurudwara and he might join in some time. So by the time we were about to reach; Dad got late and also the sun was about to set; so Tayaji told that we will go the next day.[:D]

Actually I too have used my cellfone camera:biggrin:
Samsung Galaxy Ace; it has 5MP I guess.[roll]
Not to forget that I have given some finishing touches in Photoshop. Some adjustments in the levels and saturation. Also the border plays an important role too.

So to explain it better.

So is this a compliment? [:D]

Nothing much. The odo has crossed 3200kms mark today. Now I have left thinking about the car; because the more I think the more I get upset. First of all the mileage. Not up to the mark. The other day my Dad told me that it was you who wanted this car. Rather we should have brought an Innova or a XUV500 if we were to get this low mileage. Secondly; the car is not a rough and tough car. This car is very delicate. Also I am hearing some rattling noise from the right side of the driver sear(may be door or seatbelt) and from the front left hand side after the suspension issue was sorted out. Also after hearing from people; I am not at all confident in this car on bad roads in comparison with DZire.

But at the same time I am in love with this car. Overall no issues.

i just transfer pics to my laptop and then use preview to crop out and down size pics.
yeah you could take it as a compliment.

your sure the rattling doesn't seem to be coming from the rear door?
Im getting low khat noise form the front both sides never used to happen before changing the springs
so its not only limited to petrol vernas. fe not increasing on highways?

you and me drive on almost the same roads frequently and we have a bunch of rattles in our car.

a guy in dads office had a xuv500 which he sold after a few months that car went more times to the service centre then mine did. It was all major issues. Innova is the most reliable car spacious comfy and can go on and on without major work. My dads friend who has a rental fleet has an innova driven by only one driver at 2.15l km never had an engine overhaul and just now it needs its 2nd clutch replacement

I am fed up of driving very calmly for these 3k kms. The fe is not increasing from 13 at all. Also I am not going to visit the service center for these minor issues becaise I dont have time.

BTW also need your suggestion regarding the extended warramty. Havent taken yet. So should I get it? Its some 10k if taken before 60days from the date of purchase and some 12k after that before 365days and the charges keeps increasing.

The other day met one of our collegue who had brought a white CRDi SX(O) a couple of days before us. Actually after seeing us he brought the car without even taking a TD. So as soon as he met me; he started saying that because you told this car gives a good FE I brought it. He too said rather I would have brought a Cruze if he knew that the fe would be that bad. He dropped the option of Cruze because of low fe. Also he has a DZire and an Innova too. He said this car is useless. He takes his DZire where ever he wants without any tension of potholes and all. He says the car is very delicate. Not for rough and tough use like a work horse. But he was happy with the car's performance. He abused a lot about the radio antienna. I too found it a crap. Not to forget this guy too had a tragedy during first service at SHARAYU.[lol]

Actually Dad was like of this car is giving FE of 12-13 then we would have brought a Big one. We dropped Innova and XUV because of FE and parking space issues.

Also many of our collegues own Innova. One guy has crossed 1L kms and he just changed the tyres twice along with regular services and all.

But I didnt liked the new looks of Innova at all. The model before this was better.

Re: Got Wet in the Rain of Fluidics!!!

neither did i like the new innova looks doesn't seem to do justice.

sharayu is famous for tragedies. But i have no choice since dad wants me going there and theres a guy who tries his best to find issues. cruze gives a very low fe but that engine is one heck of a beast and chevrolet has good quality. Owning a sub/muv in mumbai is a pain can't find parking first of all, the verna is the best goes in any spaces easily and the camera helps a lot.
just leave trying to get fe drive normally maybe it will give more fe then. I found out on my car if i drive very gently it gives lesser then when i drive normally.

extended warranty if your keeping the car for more then 2 years then sure but there are some(huge list) things that are not covered in that. Plus a friend said these extend warranties are like insurance you need to prove them that failure hasn't occurred due to negligence or something. On the other hand we can't say what may fail in the third year on this car so its a better option.

Though I plan to keep the car for life time:biggrin: but to be precised for around 4years/80k kms;(sold DZire after 3.5years and 76k kms)
Also the car would be going for regular services in the service center rather than roadside garrages; except the paint works and touchups.[:D]

Re: Got Wet in the Rain of Fluidics!!!

Gears - the hanging on the IRVM - is that thing not hitting your wind shield when you go on pot holes?
@Aristo-
To be frank that thing; The Khanda; is made of metal, had a small chain to it. So in the pot holes; it use to bang on the IRVM. So changed the chain with a long thread; then it started banging the windshield very hard. Always had to hold it during potholes and breakers. So at last got fedup of that and brought a small one made of plastic. Will post a pic of both later. The new one is lighter in weight and I don't care even it bangs the windshield. But yeah the metal one looks awesome than the plastic one.

May be Nick![lol]

@Aristo: Here's the comparison pic of the two Khandas. The above one is the Plastic and the below is of Metal. The Metal one looks awesome, isnt it?[roll]
