how much did maruti actually claim for the dzire? I some how don't like hyundais arai claims many folks have said they claim outrageously but the car fails to put forth.

Actually to be frank the service center and the sales executives will say the minimum Fe as the maximum Fe because they dont want the customers commimg back and having a war with them for low Fe issue; but yeah they always have an execuse; Driving Style!
Maruti guys claims the max FE of our DZire to be 13-15kmpl which I was getting the least.
Yesterday the SA told me the max you could get is 10kmpl whereas the least I am getting is 10kmpl. So they are safe. They never claimed 18's or 20's any where..

but hyundai claimed so. Thats unfair man, dealership section shows you the claims on paper and tells you, service section tells you something else, not only do you feel like a bakhra but also you've been trolled.

nah mate cops haven't fined me as yet but have pulled me over once and let go. Their only catching those dark films and fining them. Just wait some time more lets see what happens already I'm feeling this thing is dying a slow death not much folks are talking about it these days.

but they are strict about belts these days as well as helmets and those devnagri scripted plates.

nah mate cops haven't fined me as yet but have pulled me over once and let go. Their only catching those dark films and fining them. Just wait some time more lets see what happens already I'm feeling this thing is dying a slow death not much folks are talking about it these days.

But dude my car is looking incomplete without the tints. Or should I go for 50% on all the sides?
My perfect configuration is 50% windshield and atleast 35% on sides and rear but 20% would be much better!

i know you want that privacy actually 70% front and rear, 50% sides was the legal limit go ahead with that if you wish. Cops are catching dark tinted ones. By the way dad told me to take the car in in this week, so i told him of modi. He asked one of his colleagues who stay in chunabhatti he told dad they were deserted when he went there hardly two cars and sa's chatting away. Dads like leave it just take the car to sharayu my friend will handle it. The issues I'm facing i did a google on it seems like its not some minor thing has to do with the clutch system(like pressure plates,bearings etc)

Privacy! Dont get me wrong buddy I am single so no gf, nothing. Its only I like cars with darker tints. I dont want people staring at me directly from outside. Also the heat is too much.

If you have contacts in sharayu then thats good. BTW if you go next time; just ask for me that can the speed sencing door locks can be activated in the SX model?

And i was pulling your legs i know the heats unbearable, if you wish then go ahead but don't get anything expensive who knows cops may tear it down and your money gone down the drain.

Yesterday i read from local Marathi news paper that cops are ready to start the campaign to remove the dark tinted films from today. But news paper quoted that the police does not have any tool to guage whether the film is legal or illegal i.e.70% transmision of light for front and also what amount of fine to be imposed.

they have anyways been pulling over dark tints since last month. If they start it for all films then god help us, the heat and humidity is unbearable. by the way our ac seems pretty efficient i think its a 1.2 tone rated since the capacity is rated as 4,400 kcal for indian and 4,650 for the other countries

So gave a Kerosene wash to the car and waxed it yesterday morning. Here are the pics which I clecked today evening.







Also saw some scratches. One of them is much deeper. Others are not visible in the pics.


Also today afternoon got a call from Modi Hyundai regarding how did you find the service. Are you happy and all. I said one issue is not cleared till now (the karrr noice) So she said bring the car tomorrow. I said I dont have time tomorrow, I will bring the car whenever I get time. She said please confirm the date and time as I have to mentioned in the records and all. Okey I said I will come by Friday. She said fine. Thenkyou.

dude those are long scratches i can see them pretty good, this is what we get for not having the parking in your own building. And gears if you don't mind could you ask them if theres any new tsb's and just casually ask them about my issue and what they feel is wrong. If they give a good answer then yes modi i will take it to on my own risk, but if they screw up ill sleep on the footpath.

Yeah they are long and deep too. Thats a reason I didnt got a BMW or AUDI you know
Yup will ask them if I go on friday hopefully. I hardly managed to get time for the first service. BTW did you checked out the sound in your car. This is what happens

Start the car.
Put First / Second / Third / Fourth / leave the accelerator; let the car flow. As the speed decreases; in my case(CRDi) till 40kmph just below the 40kmph mark there comes noise karr karrr and soon that sluggness feeling comes to shift down the gear. I hope you got my point. Some times I felt that I am changing the gears to 4th very soon till it reaches 40kmph. But I shift as soon as the eco mode indicator shifts.

I will first give a TD to the mechanics and the SA there. if they accepts the fact that they are hearing the karr noise (I know even if they here it; they will say it is fine sir, no noise) then only I will leave the car otherwise I am coming back.

ok so far I've tried to slot into 4th and accelerate once rpms come to 1200 let me try again and see. does it happen in 5th or 6th?
i dont change with the shift indicator i change after it. like at 80 i slot into 5th instead of 60 the pick up is good if i change at 60 it feels a bit sluggish.

wait i think i got what you meant not sure if its the same noise i hear but will observe it clearly. by the way if i do that in 5th with 40 km/h i get some noise similar will confirm it. below 30 you know the usual noise will come khat khat khat

btw i had posted a vid on my thread yesterday i guess sadly to much noise wind noise from the ac.


whenever i get service feedback calls from sharayu if my issue isn't rectified i say nah its not yet solved. She replies " ok sir i will get back to you" But she never bothers to neither do i get another call from someone else.
