Got Tata Sierra - Turbo!

last month it had its oil service.

nothing more , its running fine , except for a vague steering , may be due to worn out steering pump ??

Ac is good , but in noon its like nothing to the heat outside. all the big glass and the top upholstery are burning hot and ac fails against them. It badly needs a plywood top (upholstery work)

Why not try molded roof, as in new cars. I guess it would reduce the heat..

moulded roof are car specific , for sierra it is not available. the only way is upholstry work. that is a long time plan.

some where last week , there was a minute oil leak near the breather hose. the culprit was old hose and it has become hard . got a new hose , it was whopping 850/- as it was a special hose with various joints in them.

Now the power steering conked off. OE are damn costly and trying hard to source one at good price. let me see if i could get a decent one by tomorrow.

last sunday had some fun . the car was washed for 250/- and in next 10 hours ... check the pictures.

parked next to our manza , same place different timing. manza gleams but nothing matching to the sierra. Love to get dirty.

I guess Sierra comes with hydraulic power steering rite ? With out that how are you able to drive, is it the pump which has gone faulty ?

yeah , hydraulic pump.

During the test , we kept the car in near 300 rpm for 10 min to find the fault . exactly as suspected the pump went to heaven. R.I.P.
