Got Tata Sierra - Turbo!

Hi Hemington,

Nice Pics, Do you still posses it? The Bull Bars look cool was it specially designed for Sierra (I mean fit for other cars as well)?

Tata Sierra was my favourite car when I was kid. Always used to dream about owning one. :-)

I liked the one in white color. Like the one below

No mate. I have just bought Fiat Punto MJD 1.3. So as of now no plans. Might be in future.

IMO,the quaity of the wiring may not be upto the mark of the company (OEM) wiring, because we can find may plugs at the end of the wires which is to be connected to the bulbs/any accessories. But in this case we just join the wires (apply tape on them).

Please correct me if I am wrong..

That is what i said , total originality is gone

But taping is not a big harm , we are securing the cut with proper insulation.

Hope tomorrow my car will be perfect back to shape

IMHO, may be the sumo type crash guard spoils the front looks.

Removed dashboard - removed all the whole wiring , the fuse box , the relay system , the wiring bunch etc.

Now the originality of the wiring/car is removed , which i dont like , but the happy thing is every bit of wire is new.

@ilango: Don't we get the OEM wiring kit for Sierras? Could've tried that!

And regarding the Dashboard, are you planning to change it too? Is it possible to get and fit a new dash?

Yeah. All turbo variants have the rear wipers!

Yeah it has 2 rear wiper and washer and defogger.

sierra 's till 91 to 97 had power window , ac , central locking and adjustable steering.

from 97 when the turbo began - the safari tcic unit , it had rear wipers , washer and defogger.

Oem , wiring kit may or may not be available. didnt check them.

Dashboard removed for wiring works. will be using back the original dashboard

the bull bars are sierra specs...even the sumo ones can be suited..but have to check on the make, bcos there were around a few diff graded ones..strong ones and show ones..111 had been replaced with another turbo...and restoration of the new veh is gng on..have complated 90% of the mech works and may be by the end of tis month il send it over for a coat of paint and other interior works !

hi guys.
I just brought a sierra turbo 97 model and i wanted to know can i put 16" safari wheel to my sierra since i have safari 2.2l dicor stock tyres. so please let me know any problems with it.
