Guys my EcoSport diesel trend takes 5-10 minutes to start giving heat via blower. Is this nitmal. Petrol cars I owned start blowing hot air immediately while it takes 5-10 minutes. I have clocked 38k KMS. Service centre said this is normal..Is it??

Does the Ecosport crank up at one go, or did it need multilple cranking to start the car?
Any fan spinning like noise when car starts blowing hot air?
Usually a car takes about 30s or so to blow hot air, I too own petrol Figo and on cold days it takes nearly 1 minute for hot air to reach cabin, till then there will be some air but can describe it as just warm,

Ecosport Diesel taking 10 Min + to throw HOT AIR
It crank in one go. Fan sound is there I guess however not sure as I was driving.
Day when I wrote above, it took 10+min to get warm air WITH AC On at MAXIMUM RED setting.
I called Harpreet Ford and they said it is normal for Ecosport Diesel as Coolant takes time.
Buddy is the same car which they messed up after first service and had increase in Noise.
I had posted it earlier. They changed some butterfly throttle body and offered free bies as well.
Seems something is wrong.
Does it take 10 Minutes of AC on at MAximum RED setting? I have doubts.It was luke warm at best. Petrol car I owned never had the issue.

It wont take 10+ minutes, and that too at MAX setting, I havent cleaely noticed but it will take around 1:2 minutes max to get hot air to cabin, I am talking about petrol or diesel, not just petrols,
Anyway check the coolant level, and if its low, flush out the coolant and add new coolant and try once more, another issue could be thermostat wear, I believe Ecosport has a temperarure sensor on top of dashboard, if that malfunction too the hot air wont blow,
So I think check coolant and its colour as well, Green and Orange is fine,bit if its super squishy or pale in colour coolant needs to be changed.

Watch Video and notice the noise. I have not heard this in any of the cars driven ever or used all my life.
There is noise, Vibrations and you can feel it inside. I could hear sound good 30M away from car.

The coolant level in Ecosport ES dropped really low, I found out after my fan was running more than normal, given the car to Chennai Ford this morning, keeping fingers crossed.
On other news the SA who sold me the car told me touch screen without sync is available from Titanium version onwards in 2017 ES.

Biggest worry is they last time said there was no issue and again they looked reluctant as if I am the culprit and demanding something which is unusal.
I am fed up. This is seriously an issue.

I am fed up. This is seriously an issue.
Horror Continues...Pathetic Service levels
I visited and they changed Fan Motor. They said it had accumulated dust. However they clicked images. I guess to US leadership they will represent that it was due to some damage.
What is disgraceful is they again bruised door handle this time of Front. Last time they did other door. How can they hit the car twice in 2 services?? This was confirmed by service engineer from Ford inspection report did not show front door. Please note I was not given a copy and never saw a copy of inspection report prior to delivery.
Not just that billing was not working. Made me wait 15 minutes. During last service Astro Ford gave me bills a month later on BLANK a4 sheets with no logos.
Last time they asked me where did I get ambiente light installed. I told them at Ford Dealer.They called dealer to confirm. Again the same story. I told them if nothing wrong with car why worry about lights. Jesus!!!!
WHAT IS SHOCKING is- My car was part of mandatory recall for some brake line etc clips. I moved to Astro Ford at Dwarka, Delhi and they after 2 hours said they did the Job.
Now to my shock, HArpreet ford said that was never done. All this while my safety was at stake.
Only Ford Service Engineer was silver lining as he was open. Though whenever they talked with other service guys they ensured I did not hear anything.

They spend at least 1-1.5 hrs on Car AC system. However did not change any thing.
Last time engineer was about to change compressor.
When the issue was gone with Fan motor replacement why they checked?
And then they always doubt my Amibente Light fitment. Why would they now doubt it everytimg if all is fine with car

They do that so that they can say some parts say like the FAN or its motor went KAPUT because @Esmaniac used a different wire connection from battery or an external source which loaded the specific motor or part etc, they want to find an excuse for the defect
