I have just upgraded the Audio System of my Ecosport:

4 Ch Digital Designs Amp
2 component speakers - dls ma 6.2
Sub Woofer - 18"
and Damp Mat Damping on front doors and boot.

Planned :
Will add rear components from Memphis
A monoamp - Digital Designs
Rear Door Damping

Guys! I am getting my Ecosport serviced tomorrow which is now 2 years old. Mine is the Ecoboost variant, unfortunately the dealer has on semi synthetic 5w-30 Oil and not 5w20 Wss-M2C948-B spec.(SAE5W20) engine oil. I am not able to procure this oil from outside in Chennai, the closest I have seen is Motocraft SAE 5W-20 engine oil on Amazon.in but it is of slightly different spec, for now I plan to go with the oil dealer is putting.

Anybody else who has filled 5W-30 oil in their ecoboost engine and how does the car perform with this engine oil? Will 0w-20 fully syntetic oil available in the market be better?

Still my Ecosport AT headlight brightness is not sufficient after upgrade to Philips XV +100 and Philips XV +130
I need suggestion from experts to go for an upgrade to get more brightness without affecting warranty.

Any one in the forum done the upgrade for their Ecosport.

It is better to go for higher wattage bulbs with proper cutout and fuse. But i am afraid it may void your warranty. If money is not a problem u can go for after market projector setups [:)]

If I go for 100/90W with relay will it void warranty. Warranty may void because of higher watt or cutting the headlight backside cover to insert the holder. Please share your thoughts.

IMO it will void warranty. Thats why i am still running on stock bulbs. Otherwise i would have gone for this 100/90 set up [:)] .

I guess under 30k you will be able to get a good aftermarket projector setup. In another forum few members have opted for projector setup and they are loving it.

Hi Guys, I drive 2016 ecosport titanium(o) tdci, but i am facing this issue , a rattling noise from the boot of the ecosport whenver i drive over bad road or humps even at slow speeds. I have been to the service centre 3 times and after some days the noise resurfaces. I live in gurgaon and the internal gurgaon roads are filled with potholes, because of which i decided to buy ecosport in first place over any sedan. I drive sedately but still the rattle just puts me off and kills the fun of the drive. I love my car to be silent and rattle free. Has anyone found any solution to this rattling problem. Which part is the actual culprit or should i go for the tailgate lock replacement under warranty.
