Took delivery of the same yesterday. It's August manufactured. Odo was showing 39km. Accessories chosen are 3M Teflon PU and underbody, led scuff plates (best) and matting. Temp. Registration number so not much of driving around. More updates to follow. Thanks.

If you are in Noida you can talk to Car Plus in Sector 16 for the steering cover. They are authorized Autoform dealer. I got my seat cover + neckrest from them. The quality is very good.
Even I am interested in the IRVM display + Reverse camera. The rear visibility is really poor because of the D pillars. I got a quote of 12K from Ford showroom. I did not read very positive reviews about that camera though. Are there any other brands that I can consider without impacting Ford warranty?

Just went to Harry Ford Trivandrum one of biggest dealer in India, They are assuring a 100 HP , 215 NM engine same as in Aspire for Ecosport, an option for removing spare wheel, some interior plastics switches features etc inspired from Aspire

Yes the price will be increased but that will be only in Titanium and Titanium O variants, rest of the variants will largely remain same regarding price.
Also Ecosport is currently their only hope in 8-12 lakhs price bracket as Global Fiesta sedan has quit from our market for the time being,
They say Ford might introduce a new Fiesta replacement sedan within 2 years time, so till then the Ecoport should fill that gap, so some features like Cruise control etc has chance to creep into Ecosport,so lets hope Ford gives us an even more appealing Ecosport,
Price wise it will be more dear than current Ecosport so current Ecosport owners will never feel that its inferior in lot of counts.

Because of the pricing of Creta, S-Cross and to some extent the Duster, there is a lot of room for Ford to increase the pricing. I was expecting them to already come out with a price hike. If the upgraded Ecosport is around the corner, I will be expecting them to bump up the price at its launch.
As per Hary Ford Sales Manager, the Ambiente and Trend Ecosport will have negligible price increase say between 2000-5000 Rs maybe but the Titanium and Titanium O will have significant changes with feature upgrades as well, so expecting hike of above 20k for these models so that they will come up with all features that Aspire holds+ a few more, so that Ecosport remains as superior to even Aspire on feature list
The Ecosport wont come with a significant price upgrade and dont expect it to be as expensive as the Creta or S-Cross. the main reason being that the Ecosport is under four metres (Spare wheel wont come in consideration, unless there's a change in the law and taxes) and this gives it the same tax as of a hatchback. So dont expect a significant upgrade in price, but I guess for the extra features that's going to be available on the face lift that's going to come soon, we have to shell out extra amount for the extra features. So guys what are the updates on the facelifted Ecosport? Are they planning to ditch the spare wheel like the European Model? And any other info about the launch etc?
The latest user manual(aug15) of Ecosport mentions 100PS for the diesel, which the earlier User Manual was mentioning as 92 PS. So possibly the newer ones are tuned to 100PS?

Without spare wheel on rear Ecosport will surely miss SUV stance IMO. lets wait and see. Ford can try AT in ecosport , since creta already having and duster also going to have AT soon (I don't is it rumor but read somewhere).
