what about warrenty after rear camera and are these seat cover worth for the price any discount coupon available?
Rear camera warranty depends, some sellers offer warranty and others don't, so you will have to search for that.

I was planning on buying the covers as they look quite tempting (at only 3250/-) and have 6 month warranty, but haven't purchased them yet. However, other buyers have given positive feedback for the covers!

I don't think any discount coupons are available.

3. Accessories :
Went to an accessories shop whose owner claims to be the first person to take delivery of an ecosport from Karali ford TVM. He has moded his ES with all available accessories and he has even done the DRL set up in his ES.
The car was not available at the shop when I went, but he requested to see the car and their work before deciding on the accessories list. I am planning to visit the shop again next week when the car is around. He quoted the following estimates (including installation) :
- LED scuff plates (both front and rear door) - Rs 2750
- Ambient lighting : Rs 650
- DRL - Rs 9000 [clap]

My dealer doesn't have the accessories that I desire - so this shop might offer me what I am looking for. Will keep you guys posted once I see their modified car.
Went to the shop today to see the modified ES - luckily it was there at the shop.
Examined the workmanship on the car just to be sure they have enough skill to get the job done - I must confess, they have done a pretty decent job with the mods. Attaching the pictures of his car (it has too much 'bling' to my liking, but I was concentrating only on the things I wanted)

Got the following quotes for the things I was interested in :
- DRLs - Rs 10 K, 1 day for installation
- 3D mats - Rs 3K for black and 2.8K for beige
- LED scuff plates - Rs 2.7K
- Ambient lights - Rs 650

They also do vinyl graphics, the quote being dependent on the design. Seat covers on the ES shown above are also pretty neat - didn't check the price for them, as I was not sure if I will be getting seat covers.

For those who are interested, the contact details of the shop are as follows :

I have a question experts/owners may please help me. I have booked Trend varient.I am looking for fog lamps & reverse parking camera + Sensors with IRVM, question is should i go for AM or from dealer for following reasons:
Do i require an additional switch for AM fog lamps whereas dealer can add the same with existing switch available (dnt know where), also does the trend varient has the plugs & Wires available already for them or additional wiring needs to be done (ECU programming has something to do with fog lamp functionality):stupid:
Does additing Rev parking kit (camera+Sensors) all AM has warrenty implications
Also if someone can help me with pointers for spare wheel cover OEM style in delhi NCR for ES

AM Reverse parking kit should not affect your warranty because the system is isolated, you shouldn't need to tamper with any of the original wiring to fit it.

You can get an OEM style spare wheel cover at good rates on Electronics, Cars, Fashion, Collectibles, Coupons and More Online Shopping | eBay. They will ship to your doorstep.

Sorry for asking this again - but some help on this would be highly appreciated

Can any one comment on the engine guard and engine cover used in Ecosport.

Have read somewhere that the new Fiesta's engine cover can fit the ES. So that's the one that goes into the bonnet. Is the engine guard mentioned in accessories list, the one that goes under the engine bay to protect the engine bay from underneath ? Assuming both these are independant - could some one please share their approx costs ?

Anoop don't you think 10K for DRL is high. You can get it for half on ebay and other online stores. Here are the links from my store at ebay and shopclues:

The links that you have given are for DRLs integrated to fog lamps. The one that I was mentioning was the one inside the headlamps (see pics in my previous post)- those which will act as DRLs and turning indicators. The individual cost of DRL tube used for the same is around 4K (available in Aliexpress), so 10K for the DRLs and installation (keep in mind you have to split open the headlamp unit, install the DRL and then seal it back together) seems to be a fair deal.

On another note : The dealer called me today and confirmed that my ES has arrived at the yard [clap]
Planning to do the PDI on Monday. [:D]

Thank you Viru, any comments on the Fog lamp part
If your car has a provision for fog lamps, most likely you would just have to replace one of the blank switches inside with an actual switch, OEM style may be tricky to find though. I haven't heard of it needing a connection to the Engine Management Computer, but I'm not too sure about the Ecosport.

You could consult with someone who has dealt with Ecosports more often than I have.

Just a pointer, when getting AM foglamps, it is imperative that they are aimed correctly (ie. low and wide) otherwise there will be too much backscatter and they would be useless in foggy weather.

Today I saw one trend model with fog lamps & parking sensors, he got all the things AM ones, and the switch for fog lamp is already present in trend also the lamps are just plug n play so there will be no implications on warranty part with fog lamps.[clap]

So they sell the trend model with a functional foglamp switch that isn't actually connected to anything? [surprise]

The switch referred by the user was headlamp height adjuster beside the headlamp main switch, which is a round knob which also has a push button facility (Similar to AC button functionality in trend, which acts as fan speed controller and for AC you need to push it in) and is used as fog lamp switch. not sure if it is same in the titanium

Oh, definitely makes the job a lot easier! [;)]

Have you decided which foglamp type you are interested in?
