They look soo good!
Where did you take them from?
Went to one ordinary carpet shop, took measurements from the OE floor mats and cut them. The material is just perfect. Not too soft or hard. Feels very comfortable. The guy said it will pick up dust very well. Now have to test it.

How about going in for DRLs for your Ecosport? I've been checking out the thread in the other forum (you know which) where a member there has got the DRLs done and it looks stunning. So much so that one of my friends here is dying to get it done on his car.

This is definitely in my mind but not as of now. Will wait for couple of months and see the options available in the market. Headlight mod is my weakness and this is one thing that I have in mind. This is on the cards and can expect in few months.

He he. I know about your fetish for headlight mods. [evil] I remember seeing your Swift long back when I'd gone to EKM for a cousin's marriage.
DRLs + projector headlamps make the Ecosport even more desirable that what it is now.

First Service Report:

Odo reading - 2283kms
Average Mileage - 14kmpl
Usage - 100% AC in city
Problems - Small rattle (front passenger door - Vibration in the speaker when the bass is high)
Total Cost - Nil

Summary:
Decided to try Kairali Ford's service station at Vennala. Didnt like the attitude and their service at their Palarivattom service station (regarding the blown tyre and Engine Malfunction incident). Reached the service station at 10.30am. The SA, one Mr Stalin was in charge of my car. Asked my general opinion of the Ecosport and whether I was satisfied with the product. Asked me if I had any complaints with the car to which I replied on the small rattle coming from the speakers. Noted everything and he said he would drop me. I rejected his offer as I had to visit a shop nearby. Expected time of delivery was around 2pm. When I reached back, the car was in the final stages. He then invited me to the service bay and asked me to check the car for any rattles and the general work after the wash. He then asked me whether I was satisfied so that he could do the QC. After sometime the car was ready. Again, he asked me to check the car fully. After giving a thumbs up, he gave me the bill and was ready to leave.

I should say, I had a very good experience at the service station. Even though it's the same dealer, the attitude at both the places are so different. Kairali Ford, Vennala will be my service station from now on.

Load Test:

Scene 1:
6 adults including me. Drove for around 10 kms. Absolutely no chance for 4 adults in the back but 3 sat perfectly fine.

Scene 2:
4 adults+ 2 international size suitcases, 3 medium size suitcases, 3 handbags and 1 laptop bag. Drove for 30 kms. The drive did feel heavy with little bit of downshifts. MID showed 17kmpl in 80% city conditions. Was able to fit 2 international size suitcases and 2 medium size suitcases in the boot. Rest of the luggages were in the split seat (small seat)

Hey Naveen,

Good to hear about your service experience and that you got a reliable service station to cater to your ES service requirements.

That Load test post was a pleasant one and I suppose ES did pass the test![;)]

Yes, it did pass. I forgot to click the pic of the luggage. It was immense. Definitely struggled for power at times but sailed smoothly till the airport.
Struggled for power? 90PS of power and that too linear delivery of the power right? When i TD the ES i found the power delivery excellent and we were 5 heavy built adults in car. I didn't feel any strain at all. If you ask me ES is the best all rounder available. Only problem is if you have a family of 5 adults then ES might a bit small but i found ES one of the best cars available in India (especially the long list of specs [clap])

Oh yes! The pic of it would be of great help to imagine the kind of luggage you are hauling.

Anyways, I can imagine from your words, that the engine must be feeling the strain from the full load. Moreover, as you mentioned, you must be feeling the lack of pull in some tight situations.

Naveen can you get me the detailed PDF report of VIN from the other source?

DC59355

thanks in advance
It is Sep,2013 manufactured!

Thanks! I was asking for a detailed PDF report of it. I got the VIN on 18 Sep and picked it on 28 Sep due to my non availability at home. I was asking Naveen if he can get me detailed PDF report from other forum
