Yes it's really surprising to know an overpriced product without any safety equipment's doing such number's that to with a very limited sales outlet.

In Mumbai I saw normal people like you and me driving . Infact I asked 1 guy who parked the force 1 at barista in chembur and asked him his review he had all praise for the engine , suspension and vehicle the only complaint he had was air nose entering in the cabin at speeds 120+ .
Me and my dad took test drive of the force one since their dealer in vashi is just next to Toyota we had actually gone to take test drive of fortuner .
The car has space space space space and more space safari, Scorpio, xuv and in last row even aria can't come close to it . The car has amazing torque and very easy to drive in city but the clutch was damn hard and gear shifts very hard .
They have a dealership in Pune maybe you must go and take a test drive .

Ps- it has a merc engine and the suspension is done by lotus . It does have cruise control , Bluetooth connectivity , steering mounted controls, reverse sensors just no abs and airbags which they will launching soon along with 4x4.

Force motors has done a good job in blending the Imported tech with ownership cost of a localized car, in this vehicle.

Maybe after years or two one can easily find the Genuine spare parts of this car in open market.
I've also came across many Force1 one owners, they were pretty much happy with the car & common thing about them was that 40% of them were belonging to the sub-urban or rural areas, indicating that Force motors have opted for upside down approach to tackle the established rivals in indian market.

No office to anyone here But It more or less looks like those china mobiles replicating "Nokia" as "Nokio" [evil]
No offense to anyone as well, but should we ridicule an Indian company for trying to succeed in ferocious competitive Indian market? If they are importing body panels from China so what? Atleast they are commited, proof: Next month they are launching One with 4x4 and a'bags.

Well Raja i was more hinting to the fact that they should have positioned this against the safari or the scorpio and suddenly you can see the USP in it even with the age old technologies and the complete lack of safety.

May be the XUV 5OO caught them off guard, may be there were expecting the XUV to start above 15L mark - thats the only rational i could fathom. Cause if the XUV was over 15L then the Force one at just a tad over 11.2 (ex-showroom currently) might have made a good business case for those looking to buy a scorpio/safari and willing to shell a little extra for the huge space premium.

But the sensational XUV pricing hit them badly, if they could still sell 2k + till date i am very pleasantly surprised and given the circumstances think they did rather well also considering they have no significant brand weight as such.

Xover- Even Tata, M&M imports part and we are proud on those band. I will not be happy if they make a Crt C Crt V of an existing model with no difference is looks and atleast not in this 2012 world.

Force Motors Continues Testing the Price Cut Force One SUV; Launch in a Couple of Months

A few days back, we broke this news of Pune based Force Motors planning to launch ‘various’ variants of their only passenger vehicle – Force One SUV.

These various variants are: a price cut version of Force One SUV which would sit under the current model and is expected to be priced around 9-10 Lakhs. Obviously, it would come devoid of some luxury features but Force expects that the lower priced variant would give it a better show against the overheating competition.

The other one is the 4×4 variant of Force One. We have revealed the first and only conclusive pictures of Force One with clear ’4×4′ badges running across on Pune roads. This would obviously be priced over the current variant and we sincerely hope that Force provides ABS on this variant as well. This 4×4 variant would directly compete with the immediate rival newly launched Tata Safari Storme 4×4.

During the launch of Traveller26 bus, Force confirmed that these variants would be launched somewhere in December and/or January 2013 months. Meanwhile we continue spotting the ‘On Test’ mules of the SUV hinting that the company might have speeden up the testing and would be hoping to wind it up before or around the official releases.

The additional variants would surely help Force to sell the potent Force One SUV in better numbers specially the price-cut entry variant.

Beware Safari Storme, here comes another real SUV with 4x4:Spied - Force One 4x4 variant caught with badges in place

The Force One is powered by a Mercedes sourced 2.2 litre FM Tech diesel engine which produces 141PS and 321 Nm of torque. The engine is expected to continue in the same state of tune under the hood of the 4×4 version.
