Apart from anything else I just love the fords steering wheel displayed in above image.
From this image design is not looking symmetric specially if you take a closer look at both the sides of gear knob.

Came to know that some more things have been added & that the fit & finish is better than fiesta. Now I seriously doubt the cost of 6-8L. [thinking]

They are doing it from a while now. I think it is safe enough to comment that Ecosport is the most awaited SUV (If I may say so) after Tata Safari Storme.

Very true! I have a strong feeling that Ford will price this baby SUV appropriately this time unlike the new Fiesta. They have developed the Ecoboost 1ltr engine specifically for Indian market and this shows that they are aiming for a big one with Ecosport.
Regarding the Storme, TATA has taken more than expected time to launch it and has disappointed a whole pile of potential customers. Most of them ended up buying XUV, Duster and now the Quanto. I at-least hope that Storme will be completely niggle free and a perfectly engineered SUV considering the time TATA has spent in making![[confused]](https://www.theautomotiveindia.com/forums/images/smilies/Confused.gif "Confused [confused]")

It’s we who also expect ‘cheap and best’ products. The LWB will exceed four meter length causing the price to shot up further. Therefore, it doesn’t seems that Ford would consider launching a long wheelbase version in India.

There's no point to blame Ford for the shortened version, if we have to blame then its our government who has various taxation slabs and Ford has only kept it below 4m to gain from the tax concession. Its a different story how much of this concession will Ford pass on to customers, but still I feel that this will help Ford to price the car well.
After looking at the interior pics of the Ecosport I don't think its cramped. There are various other cars which offer much less space than this Ecosport and have managed to put the sales chart on fire
Leg room wise, the Ecosport and Duster are in the same league, only advantage of the duster is that its more wider than Ecosport by a small margin but rest all things fall in favor of Ecosport, right from Quality to features!
