I cant use googles since am already wearing specs. Even I dont feel it but some times it is very dangerous i belive.

Actually earlier specs I had, had some anti glare coating I think. the present one does n't have. Are you mentioning that as auto cool power glasses?

I saw your sparky photos in earlier posts. Do you still have the sun film installed ? As you may know its banned in india. But still i do see some hatchback cars have it installed.

Some people say..you can install 80 - 90% VT films. But when enquired with an official. He said not even 1% is allowed.

Let me know how you deal with this

I still have it and yes it was said that it should be plain with out any sun films/sun shades etc.

But I still have it and My driving is very less that too in day time. Mostly I take it once I go home in the evening only. So till date there no problem.

Even I am thinking of taking it off.

I remember reading in Times of India that Tinted Glass by the Manufacturer with 70% visibility is allowed, but no sunfilm of any kind is allowed.

no this is also called day/night glasses. it gets dark when you go in sun and normal in shade/indoor. for glass it will be rs350/pair but fiber/plastic will be rs 1000+

Sai two doubts.

If it is cool glasses should the frame match for coolers as well normal specs.
Generally the frame for you coolers and specs different.
How will it work in night to avoid reflections which is most annoying this during night drive for me.

this one is for normal (power glass) frame. ah, just visit a near by spec store and ask this "autocool power glass". this will look like the normal glasses only. only when you get out in sun, it will get dark.

BTW. I thought of updating my spark's FE after 3rd service.

So Guys tell me is that good? what i can expect if i drive fully on higways. 29th to 30th I have to travel upto madurai and come back. I have to drive nearly 1000 KMs up and down.

That's nice.FE is improving. Though it won't be wise to predict FE of your car without driving it, still looking at the figures above you should get in between 16-18+ on highway now. Please let us know after the the trip.

Dear Sethumurugan, your mileage seems to be less by atleast 1km/ltr compared to most others are getting.Normal City mileage for spark 12-13km/ltr and 16-17km/ltr in highways.But your combined mileage is only 13.11,but it has to be atleast 14.5 to 15 km/ltr.Please check your driving style,be light footed,change the gears at the following speeds 2nd gear 10-15kmph,3rd 20-25,4th 35-40,5th 50-55(RPM around 2000). Try to drive in 4th or 5th gear.This is possible when you are driving in suburban areas and in city under light traffic conditions.By doing this,you can easily get 13 in city and 17 in highway.
