Did a small DIY taking inspiration from TheDarkKnight. used golden coloured sticker tape.
Lucas, Nice.

The sticker looks textured. Is it one of those vinyl types that look like CF?

I have a 3 foot black and 2 foot red one at home :( Thought it was CF and ordered. It turned out to be a Vinyl sticker with just a pattern :(

If you have CF, try sticking it at black plastic near the Power Windows. I've seen it on my friends car. Looked great!!

Thanks TDK. Yes it is vinyl sticker.

Thanks for the suggestion TDK. I'll remember it. I have Spark LT. Hence, the IP and the area near PW switches are Silver coloured. So not thinking about putting CF there yet. But I'll surely have to after the paint gets some scratches.[:)]. BTW you are maintaining your sparky very well.

Dear Sethumurugan, your mileage seems to be less by atleast 1km/ltr compared to most others are getting.Normal City mileage for spark 12-13km/ltr and 16-17km/ltr in highways. But your combined mileage is only 13.11,but it has to be atleast 14.5 to 15 km/ltr.Please check your driving style,be light footed, change the gears at the following speeds 2nd gear 10-15kmph,3rd 20-25,4th 35-40,5th 50-55(RPM around 2000). Try to drive in 4th or 5th gear. This is possible when you are driving in suburban areas and in city under light traffic conditions.By doing this, you can easily get 13 in city and 17 in highway.
Thank you Thenali. I will try to follow that even though I do some of them already.

I cant use googles since am already wearing specs[cry]. Even I dont feel it but some times it is very dangerous i belive.
Sethu Sir, I also wear glasses, I got powered polarised sunglasses made for me. They are superb in cutting out the reflection on windsheild and reflection from road.

I got them made from Titan Eye here in Mumbai.

Hey Suku, thank you very much for the info. Anyway, its due for Eye testing and change the complete set. Let me try with Titan Eye.

Is this can be done only with Titan Eye or with any optician I can try with?

If possible pls let me know how it works on the following cases

  • Reflection of dash
  • in sun light
  • on coming vehicles head light management
  • Will it get converted into cooling glass mode with headlights of on coming vehicles
  • can it be compared with reading lenses [42+ you know[:D]]

post the pic of you with specs or specs alone[lol]

One more. My sparky's front number plate is bent badly [thanks to the kidos play in the car parking]. then plate is also very thin.

Am going to straighten it and fix it as of now. Planning for the following type [not exactly the high security one, but with the same font and size]

If you are changing the plates then please go for the HS one. Sooner or later we'll have to fit HS number plate according to the directive of Supreme Court. the process has already been started in all the states. As Chayan has mentioned in the above post, these are really cheap.

You can get HS number plates fixed too if you like. In WB it costs around Rs.400 (+ danapani).
